Skisterflother saw Patchpaw go to get a piece of prey. "Patchpaw. Good to see you're not slacking off. For the patrols, Thimblestorm, I want you and Poppypaw to go hunting by the moor. First make sure she knows how to chase rabbits. Puppet, I want you to go to The Great Oak, and teach Whitepaw how to hunt. After, you can try to catch some prey. I know she is young, but that area is rich in prey. As for you Patchpaw, I want you to go with Thimblestorm. I will stay in camp." Skisterflother understood how tough it was to manage around a small group of cats.

Thimblestorm nodded "Alright, I'll go get Poppypaw then" she went off to the apprentice den.
Whitepaw nodded and went to find his mentour.
Patchpaw jumped when she saw her mentor "Yes sir..." she sighed, frustrated that her own mentour wasn't helping her. Almost her entire last moon of apprenticeship was done with her /mom/ of all cats. Maybe she should just sneak off...

Puppet headed out and breathed in. She loved the smell of the morning. She needed to find her apprentice. He was often up before her.
Foxstar dipped his head to his deputy. "I'm going to watch the apprentices training this morning. Will you manage?" he felt he knew the answer, but wanted to ask anyway. He wanted to make sure.
Poppypaw looked around for her mentor.

"Poppypaw!" Thimblestorm approached her apprentice "We're hunting in the moor today"
Whitepaw approached Puppet "WE're going to the Great Oak today" he flicked his tail. He didn't want to delay, the sooner they got there the sooner they could start the training.
Patchpaw sighed but stayed quiet, she guessed she should have seen this coming, her mentour was the deputy after all. With Foxstar watching though she might not be able to sneak off.

"Of course I can manage." For some reason, Skisterflother felt that Foxstar just wanted to be comfronted. "Patchpaw. Come here. I need to talk with you."

Patchpaw tensed and approached her mentour "Are we going to train together today?" she asked hopefully. She wasn't the best at hunting or fighting, she knew that, but she also felt like her mentour didn't spend enough time with her.

Poppypaw nodded excitedly. "Will we be chasing rabbits?" She asked. She loved to run.
Puppet nodded. She smirked and dashed off, flicking her tail to signal for her apprentice to follow her. She felt that he needed to get everything out of a training session, so a run and then preparing to hunt satisfied her. Try to catch up, she thought.
Foxstar gave a sigh and shook his head at his sister. She had many tricks. He then slipped out of a hidden hole by his den and chased after her.

(Can I please change my name. Such a stress to remember)
"Not today. But if Foxstar tells me you did good, we can do battle training tomorrow. Just us two." Skisterflother hoped that Patchpaw would be motivated for training.

Whitepaw broke into a run after his mentour, eyes narrowed at the recognized challenge.
"Yes, if we find any" Thimblestorm smiled at the enthusiasm of her apprentice. If only Patchpaw was like this. Seeing Patchpaw with her mentour, she said "Let's go, maybe Skisterflother will be taking PAtchpaw out" she led the way out of camp.
PAtchpaw immediately looked away, upset but not willing to show it "Ok..." she sighed and looked back at him with a strained smile "Anything else you need of me?"

"Yes. Fill up the fresh kill pile. Now go quick before they think you're a coward." Skisterflother could see some dissapointment in Patchpaw's eyes, and hoped that tomorrow, things would be settled.

Puppet could scent Whitepaw following. She turned quickly towards the moor, the quickest way to the training hollow.
Poppypaw nodded and, trying to contain her excitement, followed her mentor out.
(Yeah, you can change his name)

Patchpaw sighed and gave another forced smile before following after her mom. She jsut wished if she was forced to train with anyone else, it would have been Puppet and her brother, but then she's have to constantly hear Whitepaw nag at her to take training seriously. Maybe she would though if her mentour did! She sighed in frustration.
"Ah so you are with us today" Thimblestorm said, nodding to her daughter.
Whitepaw frowned but paused. He looked around. The way Puppet was gonig was the most direct root...but that didn't mean fastest. He burst out running once again, trying a different way to the training hollow

Poppypaw smiled at Patchpaw. "I hope I'll catch a rabbit for Foxstar, they're his favourite."
Puppet skidded to a halt in the training hollow. She paused for breath and looked for her apprentice. She was an amazing runner, but after covering such a long distance she needed to pause for breath. Whitepaw had gone a different way. Puppet was proud that her apprentice had gone with what he thought was the fastest route. She had covered it her entire life and, when you had run there escaping a fox, you always got there in a record time.

(So can I change my name?)
Skisterflother looked around camp to see if any of the dens were not working. Also, he made sure there were no strange scents.

Whitepaw burst out from a bush (are there bushes around?) and tried to topple his mentour.
"Yeah...." she said and looked around "Do...do you think Skisterflother likes rabbits?"
