"Hi there, loner!" You turn around to see this blue-and-white spotted she-cat. You unseathe your claws, though, she doesn't look like she wants to hurt you.
"There, I would ask you what you are doing there, but we could use some more claws. Maybe you could join us? Oh, you don't know who I'm talking about? Then, let me introduce the Creek Horde! Ah, I know, this sounds a bit savage name, but we won't eat you, come on!"
She flicks her tail, asking you to follow her, which you decide to do.
Welcome to the Creek Horde!
(I know that I just got back on here, but I really looked forward to creating my own roleplay! I wanted to make something a bit (well, actually a lot) different, so the explanation may take a bit of time. Don't get bored of it right now, okay?)

What is the Horde ?
You may have encountered Clans already, but a Horde works kinda differently. Let me explain you...
Ranks :
The Horde has 8 ranks :
-The leader commends the Horde. Contrary to a Clan's, the Horde's leader is chosen by the whole Horde when the previous leader dies or retires, and they generally don't change name or earn nine lives. There is no deputy in a Horde. The senior members may sometimes advise the leader, though.
-There are three factions in a Horde : the Hunters, the Fighters and the Healers. The role of a warrior is split in two ranks, the « hunting » side being for the Hunters, and the patrolling, guarding and fighting is mostly the Fighters' job. The Healers' role is similar to the medicine cat's, though they do not have a religious role (although religious communities in a Horde, especially Starclan or Tribe of Endless Hunting believers do often choose a Healer as their spiritual leader by custom).
-When a kit reaches 6 moons old, they become a novice. Every four seasons, the leader may choose two Healers, two Hunters and two Fighters to teach the new novices. The novices are trained in both hunting, fighting and healing for their first 4 moons of training, (training works kind of like classes) then they get to choose which faction they wish to join. A cat generally keeps the same position their whole life, it is very rare that one switches faction.
-Mothers and Elders work the same as in a normal Clan (Mothers are the equivalent to Queens). Contrary to a Clan's Medicine cat, the Horde's Healers can have a mate, and kits. As well, if a leader wishes to retire, they are allowed to, for they aren't bound by a special ritual, though some cats may not use those rights on a purpose of tradition.
Customs :
-It may or may not be obvious now, but the Creek Horde does not have one specific religion : cats are free to believe what they want, ans so, you may find atheist cats, as well as Starclan or Tribe of Endless Hunting believers, or even cats who would worship nature spirits, or Dark Forest demons as well.
-Kits and novices do not have a name suffix, they will only be called by their first name (ex : Spark, Dawn...). Name suffixes are given when the cat is made Hunter, Fighter or Healer, and work the same as in a Clan (ex : Sparktail, Dawnfrost...).
-Speaking of names, as the Horde does not even know about the four main Clans (if only it is the same universe), and Starclan isn't the official religion, the Thunder, Wind, River, Shadow, Star and Moon prefixes are totally okay.
-There is no Medicine cat, so no half-moon gathering. Prophecies can still be delivered to the leader of the Horde, or to a spiritual leader.
Camp :
You see those cracks in the stone ? Right under our paws is our camp. It's a giant cave, hidden under those cliffs. We can enter from there, a ledge against the stone walls goes down to the middle of the camp. Those cracks do also let the sun lighten the inside of the camp.
Come on, follow me !

Leader's den :
On the opposite side of the camp from the entrance, is a high ledge from which the Leader calls gatherings. On the side of this ledge is a cleft covered in vines which leads to a smaller cave.
Fighters' den :
Left from the Leader's den, is a large recess in the wall, in which the Fighters have settled their nests. Its ceiling has some stalactites hanging from it.
Hunters' den :
Right from the Leader's den, are several small tunnels leading to a cave in which the Hunters sleep.
Healers' den :
A tunnel located in a recess, between the Hunters' den and the Nursery, leads to this den. The Healers sleep in there, and a smaller cave serves as the herb supply. The sick cats' nests are settled under the recess. A crack in the camp's ceiling next to it manages a sunny area in which the Healers leave their herbs to dry up.
Novices' den :
Two tunnels close to the entrance lead to a mid-sized cave. Novices often complain about its low ceiling, which they often bump their heads on when getting up.
Nursery :
A short tunnel hidden behind tall grass leads to this den, a cave large enough to host four Queens and their kits, and arrange and empty space for kits' play, or for a Healer or two and their medicine herbs.
Elders' den :
The ground around this den is covered in grass, due to a hole in the cave's ceiling letting sun rays on it. A large bent stone protects it from the rain as well.
Territory :
Sun-sand Beach :
Beyond the cliffs the camp is hidden in, is a large sand beach. It has earned its name for the sand's sunny golden color. Crabs and birds can be hunted there.
Jagged Creek :
At the western edge of the Sun-sand Beach, is a rocky area called Jagged Creek, that's spiked, with very sharp, very pointy stones. Swimming there is dangerous, and most cats avoid to do it. It marks the border of the Horde's territory.
Windswept Plains :
The entrance of the camp is located at the edge of a vast moor, covered in tall grass in some points, sandy-grounded in some others. Rabbits and birds can be hunted there. Herbs do rarely grow there.
There is a sandy area close to the Rushing River that is used for combat training.
Starshine Island :
This island, quite a few fox-lenghts away from the shore, is called this, as it is considered the best spot for observing the stars. It is a popular meeting spot for mates. It is said that, if you ask someone to be your mate there on a full moon evening, if they are the cat you are destined to live with, they will say yes, and you will live a long, happy life together.
Rushing River :
A fast, rather deep river, which marks the eastern border of the Horde's territory. Hunters often come here to fish, and most experienced cats practice swimming there. Various herbs can be found around the shore, and so Healers come here quite often.
Sacred Lake :
The Rushing River rises from a lake called the Sacred Lake, because the island in its' middle is often used by Starclan believers for ceremonies. Mentors often take their novices to practice swimming in it, as it's calm waters are way safer than the sea's or the river's. It is surrounded by oak trees. Forest herbs often grow there.
Rules :
Don't forget to check the allegiances before you make a character, some ranks, religions, maybe even a gender, may be closed if it gets too unbalanced.
Anyways, try to keep these balanced and everything will be alright.
Please be nice with everyone, we're not in Duskpaw's fight club.
No Mary-Sues, Gary-Stus, or whatever you call them.
No powerplaying, god-modding (what is god-modding, actually?), etc.
Your cat can have powers, ONLY if part of a prophecy, and you must ask me if you want a prophecy.
Keep your pelt colors a tiny bit realistic. Blue gray, ginger, brown tabby, even pinkish gray is allowed, but not PURPLE or FLASHY PINK, or STARRY.
Password is your favorite villain.
If you want a special event to happen, ask me first.
Your cat can have a mate, though timeskip inappropriate scenes. There are kids around here.
If you'll be inactive for more than three days, you should tell us before, in order not to block the roleplay. I will ask for someone else to « adopt » your character. If you don't, I will ask for your characters to be adopted after three days anyways.
