[-x-] - Intro Story -
Long, long ago, a kit by the name of Featherkit was picked up by a hawk while playing outside. Featherkit, while being carried, turned around and claws at the hawk's talons, forcing the bird of prey to drop him into an unfamiliar forest. Featherkit took on the name of Feather, and they raised themselves alone if the forest.
Eventually, Feather was visited by StarClan, and was told to start a new clan up on the cliff near the forest. Feather travelled to this cliff, and used a fallen tree to cross a ravine and discover an area that would soon become the new LedgeClan's camp. Feather then searched around, and he found some loners to help him start the clan. Over time, clan traditions formed, the warrior code was recognized, and Feather recived a new name, Featherstar, along with nine lives to spare. His classmates also received warrior names.
Eventually, Featherstar and his cats built a camp, established a territory, found a way to contact StarClan, and chose the clan name of LedgeClan.
Now, generations later, it's time for you to step into LedgeClan's world. Will you stand your ground and stays strong, or will you plummet into the depths of the ravines below? Territory -
Location: LedgeClan's camp resides high up on a cliff. There is a rather deep ravine in front of it with a thin tree bridge that can be used to cross. Behind the camp are the harsh mountains, which have not been explored yet.
Leader's Area: In the back of the camp is a large pile of stones that fell from the mountains long ago. The clan leader will stand on top of the stone pile to announce ceremonies, important events, and other things. The leader also sleeps on top of the stone pile at night. It is said that by sleeping on top of the stone pile, the clan leader is closer to StarClan, and more susceptible to receiving dreams from them at night during their slumber.
Deputy's Residence: The clan deputy sleeps at the foot of the stone pile the leader sleeps on. After the deputy becomes leader, they will move to the top of the stone pile. Medicine Cat's Cave: The medicine cats reside in a cave inside the mountains at the back of the camp. It is quite dim inside, however, it is very sheltered. The cave is very large, and as such the medicine cats have built some mini-dens inside. The first five mini-dens, in the very back of the cave, is where patients with contagious diseases such as greencough go. The sixth mini-den, closer to the cave's front, is where patients without contiguous diseases, such as injured cats go. Near the front of the den, near the entrance/exit, is a line of moss nests where new patients sit and wait idle until they are assigned to a mini-den by the medicine cats.
The herbs are stored in various cracks in the walls of the cave. Due to the cracks of the cave being all scattered, so are the herbs. They are so spread out that only the medicine cats themselves know where they all are. The medicine cats sleep in moss nests away from the waiting area and mini-dens, near a small pool of water with a stash of moss next to it.
Warrior's Den: The warrior's den is near the front of the camp, where the warriors can instantly rush out of the den to defend the camp when needed. The den is made of thorny branches, which means accidentally falling onto the den could cause a bit of trouble. The den is made of this material as a way to represent LedgeClan warriors have claws sharp as the thorns, and they're not afraid to use them, just as the thorns themselves are not afraid to stick themselves in a cat's skin.
Apprentice's Den: The apprentice's den is opposite of the warrior's, and it is made out of bracken. There's not really much different about it, except for it is a bit smaller than the warrior's den. It is near the front of the camp like the warrior's den so that the apprentices can help their mentors defend the clan.
The Nursery: The nursery is next to the warrior's den, a bit further back in the camp. It is near the warrior's den so that if anyone wants to hurt the queens or kits, they'll have to go through both the warriors and apprentices first. The den is made of soft, yet sturdy material. Lavender is woven in with the den walls to keep the nursery residents relaxed, and to help them sleep easy at night.
The Elder's Den: The elder's den is across from the nursery and next to the apprentice's den. The den is made of material that does a good job at keeping the inside of the den warm and cozy, perfectly comfortable for the elders living in it.
Outside the Camp and In the Forest
Cliff Path: Outside the camp after the tree bridge is another section of cliff. However, there is a narrow path leading down to the forest. Be careful not to lose your balance while on this path!
The Forest: The forest itself is a mix of pine and oak trees. Herbs are quite abundant here, and there's a ton of undergrowth you can either hide in or trip over. Due to how thickly wooded the forest is, it doesn't receive much light.
Ghost Tree: Ghost tree is a tree that never grows any leaves, and it has a hollow hole inside it. Is is rumoured that the spirits of cats rejected by StarClan live in and around this tree, waiting to take revenge on the living cats. Not many warriors believe this rumour, but lots of kits and apprentices do, and elders have tons of fun spreading it.
The Marsh: The Marsh is a small, dark, marshy area with mud, reeds, frogs and mosquitoes lingering around in it. It is not visited often, however, when prey can't be found anywhere else, sometimes LedgeClan will resort to hunting here. Some apprentices like to start mud fights here.
Stinging Nettle Tree: The Stinging Nettle Tree is a tree covered in stinging nettle. If the tree is touched, it can cause burns and rashes, which medicine cats will have to take care of. It is more of a nuisance than anything. Sunny Clearing: The Sunny Clearing is a small clearing in the forest where the sun shines into freely. There's a rock in the center of it for basking on, and a few flowers and herbs tend to enjoy growing around here.
The Pond: The Pond is, simply put, a pond. It acts as LedgeClan's water source. There's a river connected to it, but nobody knows where it leads.
Worm Tunnel: Worm tunnel is a tunnel that leads very, very far into the ground. About as far into the ground as LedgeClan's camp is high up above the ground. It was named Worm Tunnel due to the fact that being in it makes cats feel like worms, digging through the earth.
Shimmerstone: The ShimmerStone resides in a small area deep below the ground, at the end of Worm Tunnel. The ShimmerStone is a bright stone that seems to create its own light. LedgeClan thinks it's made of ice, but it's actually made of crystal. When a cat touches their nose to the ShimmerStone, they will fall asleep and then wake up in StarClan's hunting grounds. On half moons, the medicine cats of LedgeClan come here to speak with StarClan, and new leaders come here to receive their nine lives. Normal cats can come here too, but to speak to StarClan, they must bring a gift with them. The type of gift they bring will affect the cat they talk to. For example, if they bring herbs they will get medicine cat. If they bring prey, they'll get a warrior. A moss ball, a kit. A new moss bed, and elder. If they bring a feather, they'll get a leader, since the first leader was named Featherstar. When the cat wakes up after speaking with whoever they get, the gift they brought will be gone. ~

- Extra Information -
StarClan: StarClan works a bit differently here. There is no dark forest. Only good cats live in StarClan. So where do the bad cats go? It's simple. They can go anywhere, but they are not allowed to join StarClan. The spirits of dead cats roam the world at will, however, they do not posses the ability to interact with living cats. Under most circumstances, that is. The only time the spirits of evil cats may interact with living cats is in their dreams, and during a no-moon.
Moon Phases: Moon phases have been giving specific names by LedgeClan. Rogues/loners may name them differently.
New Moon: No-Moon Waxing/Waning Crescent: Claw Moon First/Third Quarter: Half Moon Waxing/Waning Gibbous: Blinking-Eye Moon Full Moon: Full Moon
Seasons: Seasons also have different names.
Winter: Snow-Fall Season (Named after the snow.) Spring: Flower-Bloom Season (Named after the flowers that bloom in The Clearing during this time.) Summer: Warm-Rock Season (Named after the basking rock in The Clearing.) Autumn: Colour-Leaf Season (Named after the few trees that have leaves that change colours in LedgeClan territory. Most of their trees are evergreens.)
Medicine Cats: LedgeClan's medicine cats have a sort of negative reputation...
About 20 moons ago, there were two medicine cats under the names of Yarrowpelt and Berrypool. They were horrible medicine cats. They knew exactly how to cure their patients, but they never did.
Yarrowpelt and Berrypool made the medicine cat's cave a horrible place to be. Anyone who winded up there would never get better. The two medicine cats would neglect their patients, and instead of using their herbs to cure patients, they would use them to make them worse, by giving patients the wrong herbs, and even using patients to test out new 'remedies' they thought of. The medicine cats would deny their patients from ever getting to see friends or family.
Some patients managed to figure out what herbs they could use to help themselves, and they eventually escaped. However, these patients were traumatized, and they dared not to speak up about what the medicine cats did, since they were afraid of what they would do to them if they ended up in there again. Escaped patients had nightmares about the 'care' they received from the cats in the cave. Eventually, one patient spoke out, and with support from the others, Yarrowpelt and Berrypool were exiled.
Now, the patients who were victim to the old treatment spread rumors that all medicine cats are evil, and anyone who goes into the cave will never come out. Whether these rumors they spread are true or not depends on what the medicine cats in the rp will be like.

(Hmm... It's been a while I haven't seen a RP on here. Well, let's join in! Overly long applications ahead.)
Username: (not your display name.): Crimsonbird75 Cat Name: Boulderstar Gender: Female Age: 52 moons Rank: Leader Appearance: Thick-furred, brown dappled she-cat, with a bobbed tail and green eyes. Personality: Boulderstar is overall a empathic and pretty sweet cat. She cares deeply for her Clan, and every cat in it, even those she might not like. Being disloyal or ungrateful is really the only thing which could get her really mad at one of her Clanmates, so far. She can get quite melancholic, though, as she cares so much about other cats, that she'll blame herself hard if someone gets killed, or severely harmed, and she thinks she could've done something against it, even if it isn't true. Skills: She is a skilled fighter and hunter, due to many moons of practicing, although she does not have any actual physical advantage for it. She will never decide something that could harm any of her Clanmates, and is bound to never give up on her Clan's well-being.. Flaws: If one of her decisions causes harm or death of someone, she might stay paralysed with guilt for some time, unable to convince herself the next thing she'll do won't cause the same kind of disasters. She can decide to do some risky things, like choosing to risk her whole Clan's lives, over sacrificing a single life. Her short tail also grants her pretty weak balance, thankfully she did never really get harmed because of it. Family: Her parents are long deceased, though her siblings would be open. Mate/Crush: Her mate died moons ago. She most probably isn't ready to take a new one. Offspring: Boarstep and Fiercecall are her sons. Backstory: She's been a pretty average, even though skilled, warrior for most of her life. It is her skill, and love for LedgeClan that convinced the previous leader to choose her as their deputy. Her two sons, Boarkit and Fiercekit, had been born not long after she had become leader. And not long after they had become apprentices, a pack of rogues stumbled upon LedgeClan territory. They pretended they didn't mean anything wrong, and she decided to just let them pass by. However, they came back during the night, to raid on the Clan's camp. The rogues were all killed or chased off, but one warrior lost his life defending his Clan. Stormflight, her mate. She blamed herself greatly, and still does, for his death, and has since sworn to never ever let a single cat down again. Other: Nothing, really. Picture of Cat: None
Username: (not your display name.): Crimsonbird75 Cat Name: Boarstep Gender: Male Age: 26 moons Rank: Warrior Appearance: Bulky dark brown tom with a short tail, messy fur, and amber eyes. His lower jaw is deformed, making his fangs stick out like tusks. Personality: Boarstep has a very short temper, and will often be heard mumbling complaints about a thing or another. He is always ready for a fight, so much that he can get himself or others in big trouble, where it would be the less expectable. He, indeed, isn't as sociopathic as he looks, though he would never admit he actually likes someone of his own free will. Also, don't comment about his deformed face. Just don't. Skills: His strength and large size enables him to quickly dominate most cats in fight (especially with his favourite technique, rushing towards the enemy at full speed, and knocking them the hell off their paws, before pinning them down). He is also intimidating, and so, most cats actually don't even try to fight him. Flaws: He clearly isn't the most clever of cats, and, when raw strength isn't sufficient, he can get defeated easily. That can be a problem, with his capacity to get himself in trouble. Also, he has some problems speaking, or biting, due to his deformed jaw. And don't even try to ask him to be stealthy, that would be a waste of words. Family: He is Boulderstar's son, and Fiercecall's brother. His father is deceased, and he doesn't have any other sibling. Mate/Crush: None yet Offspring: None Backstory: He was born, along with his brother Fiercekit, to Boulderstar, and her deputy, Stormflight. He was born with a deformed jaw, which got him a childhood filled with the mockeries of the other kits, especially his own brother. As he had become an apprentice, he had gotten utterly sick of other cats. He picked fights with others, just to show them that his condition didn't make him any worse than them. When tragedy struck, leading to his father's death, it only made him even more callous around others. His father was among the rare cats he was still attached to. His memory fed his rage and lust for battle when the rogues returned, many more then they initially were. He earned his warrior name after the final battle, after his unheard bravery in war. Other: Nothing more. Picture of Cat: None
Username: (not your display name.): Crimsonbird75 Cat Name: Fiercecall Gender: Male Age: 26 moons Rank: Warrior Appearance: Lean tom with slightly dappled, dark grey fur with paler face, underbelly and tailtip. He has green eyes, and sharp-shaped ears. Personality: Fiercecall is a quiet cat, at least compared to his brother. He can be one heck of a troublemaker if he tries to, but mostly stays gentle. He knows how much other cats respect his talent for leadership, and has sworn to himself that he would be leader one day, no matter the cost. He has a form of psychopathy, that does not let him feel any empathy, and hardly ever fear anything. This means he feels emotions only as a result of something that affects him directly (though at a lesser extent), and not because some other cat is affected, and won't ever feel bad for hurting someone, in any way. The reason why he does not behave like a jerk is that he knows other cats won't like and respect him if he does, not because he does not want to hurt them. Remember that dearly. Skills: He is a very agile cat, able to climb really easily, and strike astonishingly fast in battle. He also is a natural leader, as he is surprisingly able to communicate his confidence and will to thrive to his Clanmates, and has kept honing this skill over time. His psychological condition lets him stay calm in almost any situation. Flaws: He relies mostly in his speed to win his fights, but he lacks physical strength, and doesn't have the technique to make up for it, and so, isn't so much of a threat, if he doesn't have the effect of surprise for him. He doesn't give half a rat's tail about his Clanmates's well-being, which can turn against him if he happens to break the Warrior Code for egotistical reasons, and it gets found out, which is bound to happen someday. His lack of fear can get him in serious trouble without him really noticing it. Family: He is Boulderstar's son, and Boarstep's brother. His father is deceased, and he doesn't have any other sibling. Mate/Crush: None yet Offspring: None Backstory: When he was a kit, he was often pushing other kits to mock his brother along with him. He was never able to feel bad for anything he did to others, even back when he was just a kit. He always looked up to his mother. He wondered how she could always do what was right for LedgeClan, because with his condition, he couldn't understand her love for the Clan. That, until the rogues attacked. He had never been close to his father, who was always scolding him for how he treated Boarpaw. He saw everyone around him mourning, crying. But he, felt nothing. He began to think something about him was terribly wrong. But he decided to hide it. Others would hate him if they knew. He wanted to be respected, like his mother. He blamed the problem on the rogues, because he had never felt like this before. As he had never felt rage before. When the pack came back, he was the one to warn the rest of the Clan. The others were scared at the amount of cats attacking, but not him. He just wanted to thrive. Running to the front line, he let out a rageful, incredibly fierce howl, letting all his rage out, as he charged. Upon hearing this call, seeing just how motivated this apprentice was, whole LedgeClan charged along with him, and thrived just as much as he wanted to. After the battle, he earned his warrior name. For the rest of his life, he would be Fiercecall, so his bravery would always be remembered. Other: Nothing special. Picture of Cat: None

Well, most of the ol' RP Club seems to have gone inactive (who am I to blame them, though), but I can tag a few people here anyway... I really want that RP to survive.
Oh, and, what about you? Will you play some characters of yours, too?

*Sits down, even though this is already probably past its mark*
Username: TroubledSpar7an Cat Name: Gorseleap Gender: Male Age: 13 moons Rank: Medicine Cat Appearance: Bright brown tabby tom with green eyes. Personality: Shifty, Insecure, Wants to clear up the Medicine Cat name, but through guilt is only driven deeper. Flaws: Can be wrathful and merciless if provoked Family: Parents, siblings: Lichenrise (Mother, deceased), Sandyfoot (Father, Unknown (see backstory)), All siblings deceased. Mate/Crush: None Offspring: None Backstory: Left in the aftermath of Yarrowpelt and Berrypool, Gorseleap offered to step in as Medicine cat, as no other cat was really willing to yield that role after the duo. Still due to the need to have one, he started that training early when he was only 4 moons old. He struggles to fit into this new role, knowing little about herbs at all. However, during a time where he was out trying to figure out where all of the herbs were, he came across Berrypool. There he made a deal. He knew the first step of becoming a trustworthy Medicine cat was to actually know all of the herbs, so he convinces himself that he had to make the deal. A deal to get the cat who had originally started the uprising against the Medicine cats, Lichenrise, his own father, and bring them to Berrypool's custody. He did as Berrynose instructed to do; taint their prey so they run to him for help, give them the help along with loading them with poppy seeds, and when the time was right, he dragged them away to Berrynose. He left them with Berrynose and only got a little more training before never seeing either of them again. Other: He barely survived being born. Lichenrise was brought into the Medicine cat den a few days prior to giving birth. During this time, she was given nothing to eat and little to drink, it being said she would give birth any time now, and it was for the best if she had not just been eating when it started. Due to this, she was weak when it began. During the process, complications arose when Gorseleap's siblings tried to come out after him, and as a result, Lichenrise and the remaining kits suffered.
