I really like how the game is set up and the gameplay and everything and I was wondering if there are any other games one would suggest (doesn't have to be warriors) that would be up my alley since I like the way this one works so much.
I don't know really anything about gaming--hell IDK what this type of game is even called--but if anyone has any suggestions, I'd love to hear them!

I've meant to answer this post for a long time, but I never could get to sit down and do it... Anyway, this sort of games is called Role-Playing Games (or RPGs, in short). In them, player controls a character (or a group of them) and go on doing quests. The most distinctive traits are characters growing in power (by gaining levels and experience points) and some sort of customization (not always appearance, but also skills, equipment, items, etc.). The genre is very old, and has a lot of recognizable games. Let's start with other Warrior Cats fanmade RPGs (pretty much all done in RPG Maker), though, since the list is way shorter. Warriors: The Next Generation was the game that convinced me that maybe RPG Maker isn't as limited of a tool as I thought and maybe I could make a decent game with it. As such, You could say it was a direct inspiration to RtI. It's a pretty short and engaging adventure, featuring original storyline and characters. Though the creator only had 30 days to make the whole game, and it shows at times - it really lacks polish here and there, and has a fair amount of bugs. Overall, it mostly flows smoothly - though the beginning part of game is kind of rocky. Dark Forest Apocalypse is another game with an original storyline, characters and setting. Here, the Dark Forest is rising again, and it's up to You to stop them. DFA is very combat heavy and focuses on resource management. The biggest focus is on fighting the Dark Forest cats, though there's a developing storyline in the background of battles. The creator has a bunch of fresh ideas, with crafting and time management. It's a game focused on its vision (dungeon crawler) and it's a pretty polished game if that's what You're looking for. If You don't mind having to fight a lot it can be pretty fun. The Rise of Scourge RPG is a recreation of Rise of Scourge manga in an RPG format. Currently only chapter I is out, but chapter II is supposedly coming out soon. There wasn't much gameplay in chapter I, so I can't comment much on it. One thing that's noticeable though, is that the creator has good art skills and so, the custom-created artwork is pretty nice, with reaction facesprites and some good looking animations. Warrior Cats: The Game (actually three games - covering the first three Warriors series). Probably the first Warriors RPG game, and it shows. Be prepared for a lot of grinding and trying to figure out what to do, since the game is very sparse in directions. I'll write later about recommendations from the genre that are not Warriors.

Thanks for all that! I agree that Warrior Cats: the Game is a lot of struggling to find what to do. Actually, I've played the Power of Three game, but now, I have no clue of what to do after I come back to camp after defeating Russetfur. Help? Also, I've tried the Dark Forest Apocalypse, it looks hard, but great.

It's been some time since I've played that game but did you sleep three times? Also if you look at the first character in the menu, it should tell you what you have to do. For example, if Jaypaw (or whatever you named him) is the first cat in the party then talk to Leafpool or something. Or you could ask on the Warrior Cats game forums, but that place is literally dead. Edit: wait. I checked and you have to go to sleep and stay awake until night go outside, talk to brakenfur and go to the moonpool.

Oh, I didn't know you were asking for Warrior cats games. Anyways, why, Leonard, would you not include Cats of the Shack on your list (Note: Only do this game if you dare, there is Scratch Warrior cats games that are better) Speaking of which, if you want to get experience 'Leading a Clan' for the Act II gameplay of leading your patrol with things, there's a Scratch game that involves that here, or here. One thing about Scratch games is how diverse they can be sometimes, so don't just throw all of them away. ,

Scratch games, as in the programming website that two of my three links lead to. But here is scratch with just a basic search for warrior cats games. Keep in mind that these games will vary in terms of quality, however, with it being one of the most open-ended in terms of design (past RPG maker (that is if you don't use the script feature), probably tied with Gamemaker) so it will still be quite an experience playing a warriors cat game in almost every type of game design. Some basic things you should know before playing scratch games: Press the Green flag at the top of the game to start it, and the stop sign to stop it. The most commonly used mechanic for talking to other cats in the games are usually clicking, along with how you enter dens. And that's basically it.

Not Cats of the Shack. Looking back on it, it is a nightmare. It haunts me in my dreams. I will try to murder it. Kill it. I will burn it in fire. Seriously though, I do agree with you. Scratch games are 10 times better than that old thing.
