Ardor is the leader of the rogues mentioned in the story of the Great Rogue Migration. She's mentioned to have joined the Clans and she's still alive, since a cat at the gathering mentions wanting to talk with her. The interesting thing here is: which Clan had Ardor joined? Unless the WindClan cat suffers from a severe dementia, it can't be it. RiverClan in its current form would be impossible. However, she may have joined before Splashstar became the leader, and was one of the refugees that went to ShadowClan. That makes ShadowClan the most possible option. We don't know many of their cats and that would make it a good choice to hide her here. There's no cat named Ardor in ThunderClan, however she may have got her name changed. What suggests this option is that Ardor had a change of heart after hearing the words of ThunderClan leader. It would also be an interesting twist to have a ThunderClan cat with an important past identity and would fit with a common theme in the game of slowly uncovering other characters' backstories. Which is why I think that Ardor really is Amberflame. Her personality seems similar to the ones from the story, and that would explain why she of all cats dies in the RiverClan ending. What do you guys think?

That would be a great plot twist, and I would love to see it.

Actually, it's unlikely that Ardor is Amberflame: there is one WindClan elder that it's "too bad that Ardor couldn't show up", and Amberflame is at the gathering.

It does seem to point to Ardor being in ShadowClan than the others.
Makes me wonder if maybe her 'change of heart' was all an act and she was the one to kill Spidershade...that would be quite interesting. If she is apart of ShadowClan, which seems most likely, she would know of his weakness. For the motivation, it could be, as stated eariler, her change is all an act and Ardor is trying to turn the Clans against each other to possibly take over.
If I remember correctly, don't the Clans keep mentioning scenting rogues when patrolling? We fight rogues at the old twoleg house and find some just outside our territory by the border. What if Ardor's old group is still lingering around, as she manipulates the Clans into chaos for them to strike? What if the brute at the beginning is one of them?
Of course, this is all just speculation. I could be right about some of it but not all of it, or maybe all of it's false. We'll just have to wait and see!

I mean, if you do think that Ardor is someone in the game, just list out every she-cat you know and then eliminate the ones that can't be Ardor. It's simple deduction. For example, I don't know how surprising people found the identity of the bomber in Moon Rising, but it was obvious to me. Only a dragon with fire breath could set off the bomb, so it could only be a SandWing, MudWing, SkyWing, or NightWing. It wasn't going to be someone in Moon's Winglet, so those guys were out. The majority of the remaining suspects had done nothing in the book so far or were too obvious, so it could only be Sora.
