So, due to my Tahki RP'ing within SeaClan, I've indirectly attracted attention to the world of SOUL by using some of the lore (Mostly just the Gods) within the RP, and by request, I am bringing the world of SOUL here onto the forums. This may or may not revive into a Minecraft server once again depending on how things work out (considering we had a Custom texture pack and everything there), but for the time being, you can enjoy the world of SOUL here. Rules:
Do not RP anybody else's characters without permission
You may have up to two powers for your character.
With permission, you can have characters outside of the Tribes, however, be wary of the fact that this RP board is already handling Five tribes, so please do not clutter the thread with external parts if you do not intend for it to dedicate towards the main plotline.
Ask permission if you would like a big event to happen that requires something beyond just your character (i.e. you don't need to ask me to be able to declare war if you are an Alpha). I'm always open to external plot ideas, although please try to communicate them with me.
Be aware of your Public View of Affections. If in the rare case you have to get into detail in such an event occurring (i.e. birthing failure), please do those parts of RP via PM with those applicable. Keep in mind that anybody wandering by can see your parts, not just those partaking in the RP.
Try to generally be a good RP'er (No Fail RP'ing, Over-Powerplaying, Godmodding, One-liners) - Due to me probably missing things in these posts, I will do my best to try to prevent any Mary Sues/Gary Stus from being created. (Note: Beginner RP'ers are welcomed, but you should be willing to develop your RP skills)
Standpoint if you want to read ahead as I develop the posts: docs.google.com/document/d/1Fjzv2GkVxwpzC0Wm-ji1ygbmLrJ0yF3aLP8xP11Sf_M/edit?usp=sharing (Gen 2 Lore) || docs.google.com/document/d/1xR-HVYisScwwajQVd2bYt-a4qAxhmn81UZmqky-VOrk/edit#heading=h.uuk8slucvl5e (Pre-RP Lore) (I'm basically trying to recreate Gen 1's lore by utilizing both of these documents)

The Founders and Their Story
A deep voice echoes through the cave, and you turn your head. Nervousness fills you, as your sight lands on a strange deformed fox. His fur, what little of it there is, is silver and grey with age. Sightless cloudy grey eyes stare towards you, no.. not towards, at you. "What are you doing here, kit?" The fox's voice is a rasp, only heard because the cave is utterly quiet otherwise. "I-i ju-just wanted to l-look around, I'm sorry, please don't hurt me!" You stammer and stutter, terrified of this grotesque fox. He chuckles at you, dissolving into coughing. The furless animal walks deeper into the cave. "Come little one... i shall tell you a story.." You glance nervously back where you had come from, but curiosity stubbornly led you after the old fox. You follow him deeper into the cave, barely able to see. A dim glow begins to arrive from around a turn in the cave tunnel. The blind fox looks at you, nodding his head forward and disappearing around the turn. Doubt fills you, and you consider running back out of the tunnel, into the safety of your mother's fur. Indecision clouds your heart, but finally you turn and run into the cave.

Darker grey paws and lines across eyes. Founder of the Tribe of the Tumbling Stone Other Alpha: Shine Leaf (Mate) The Founding Story Long ago, almost 250 years now, the tribes did not exist. Foxes lived much like they do in the real world, aware of their own existence but without abilities. They lived in small families, the children leaving to form their own families once they grew old enough. It was a feral time. The foxes fought over their claimed 'territories’ which overlapped wildly, and lived in constant fear of the large wolf packs in the mountains and in the rolling hills outside their small forest. The first fox found to have magic was an Arctic fox named Snow Lily. She controlled the air, the water, and the earth and took over the wilds through strength and terror. She killed all who would oppose her, her abilities straining her mind and body and slowly turning her into a cruel but brilliant Mad-fox, taking her place as Queen of the forest. Her blood was passed on through the tribes, giving rise to new powers amongst them, but never stronger than herself.
Snow Lily lived for some amount of time despite her weakening state, but her rule only grew crueler. The foxes were in a tragic state, beaten and broken with nohope for escape except to pass through the White Packs territories, if they could get through alive. All chance of freedom seemed impossible, when word of rebellion spread.
A group of foxes, no more than 3 or 4 had taken back the mountains from the White Packs and the Tyrant Snow Lily. Hope spread through the foxes, as rage filled the queen. She sent her warriors to destroy the rebel group, cruelly and mercilessly. Her warriors were defeated with ease, one young pup sent back to her to tell her of her opponents. She sent her personal guard, the best and most powerful of all the foxes other than herself. They did not prevail. Snow Lily grew afraid, very very afraid. No one had ever bested her warriors, let alone her personal guard.. She hid herself away, digging down through the earth to create a large cave that would eventually become the Shining Moon camp. The rebel group advanced forward through the lands, freeing the foxes they came across.
Snow Lily lived in terror and anger, as the rebels freed more and more of the foxes, until one day a golden tod showed up at her entrance. “My name is Rising Sun, and your torment of this place ends now.” He announced, starting at her bravely. She laughed. He was small for a fox, with large ears. Even in her declining health she could beat him, and she wondered how he could have defeated her warriors. The mad queen quickly defeated the fox, his powers considerably weak compared to her own.. All seemed lost for Rising Sun, when suddenly the Queen was attacked again. There were 3 more foxes, a large grey tod who made the earth shake beneath his paws, a silver vixen who gracefully moved through the cave, and a black tod with threatening eyes that made the shadows grow around them. They quickly challenged her and a great battle commence.
Snow Lily struggled against these new opponents, their powers too much for her to last against. The old queen laid at their feet, begging for mercy. Shining Moon drowned Snow Lily on dry land. The foxes were free but their former way of life was lost. With no leader or direction, they had no idea what to do with themselves.
The rebel group made of the four foxes Rising Sun, Darkening Winds, Tumbling Stone, and Shining Moon created the tribes we have today. Shining Moon, a strong believer in justice, created the first laws of the tribes, so that another insane leader would not grow to power and take over the whole forest, as Snow Lily had done. Time passed, and the tribes struggled and fought between each other. Peace eventually settled as they defined borders and began to settle into this new lifestyle. Near this time, Rising Sun fell in love with a foreign fox with strong abilities, Meadow of Flowers. They became mates andeventually she became pregnant. Tragedy struck when Meadow of Flowers was going to the Steam Springs, a natural hot spring in the Tribe of the Rising Sun's territory to rest in the warm water when a violent storm hit. Whilst seeking shelter, the vixen went into labor and eventually gave birth to 5 stillborn pups and 1 pup who lived through 2 nights before dying.
Devastated, Meadow of Flowers created the Tribe of the Blossoming Willows, named after the large tree (known as the Life Tree now) that had sheltered her during the storm. It is said that the Blood Trees surrounding the camp hold the souls of the kits/pups who have passed away there, protecting the camp from harm. Meadow of Flowers became the first elder. The first guardsmen was Rising Sun, who left his tribe to join his mate. His sister Lightning Shot took his place as alpha, with her mate Night Glow. The tribes began to thrive as Leaf Grow (Spring) passed, and Long Sun came into season.

[Reserved for Tribe description, culture, naming] The Tribes Tribe of the Rising Sun
These warm-blooded foxes live up to their Tribe’s name. They tend to hold home to some of the most hot-tempered, but honorable and loyal foxes amongst the Tribes. Despite their relationship with fire, they believe in life and are very cheerful and friendly, using a lot of physical contact between even acquaintances. Their territory is the warmest of the 5 tribes, remaining warm almost all year long. During the Long-Sun Season (Summer) it can be almost unbearable for any other fox. Because of their warm temperatures however, they are home to the most fire-wielding foxes all of the Tribes. Tribe of the Shining Moon
This graceful tribe is full of Moon-worshipping foxes. Unlike the Tribe of the Rising Sun, the Tribe of the Shining Moon has some of the calmest and wisest foxes amongst the Tribes. They are seen as logical, cold foxes by most of the other Tribes, but the Tribe of the Shining Moon shows their care and affection in much less physical ways. They live in a Taiga like biome, with many pine trees and a cool temperature. Many earth and water powered foxes choose this Tribe as their home. Tribe of the Tumbling Stone
These foxes are swift and courageous, brave enough to conquer any challenge. Like a stone, they can be stubborn and aren’t seen as the most witty of the tribe foxes. They are very brave though, and friendly with outsiders. It is a popular tribe amongst the earth powered and wind powered foxes, as the open plains and the deep underground den are comforting to them. The Tribe of the Tumbling Stone lives on open hilly plains, with a moderate temperature. Tribe of the Darkening Winds
These reclusive foxes live amongst the cold stony mountains. They are seen as brash and unfriendly. The foxes of this tribe are generally suspicious of others and prefer to keep to the mountains. Sarcasm is rampant. Despite the views the other tribes have of them, the Tribe of the Darkening Winds is actually quite close amongst the tribe members. They believe in camaraderie and loyalty to one another, even if they show it in unique ways. These foxes live in the tall cold mountains, which makes it a great place for ice-powered foxes. Pine trees surround the mountains, which is where most of their hunting occurs. Tribe of the Blossoming Willows
Home to the kits and pups as well as elderly of all the Tribes, the Tribe of the Blossoming Willows is protected by all the Tribes equally. This is where expecting vixens go to give birth and raise their kits/pups until they are 4 moons of age. This makes it a general blend of all the tribes cultures and personalities. This tribe hosts the most experience healers, and also the 5 Elders who work as prophets for the tribes and kits and pups futures. Naming "From now on, you are no longer Dry Flame. Your name until death and reincarnation, shall now forever be, Black Heart." ~Midnight Flower, Alpha of Darkening Winds Names are an important part of all cultures, as it is a representation of yourself and who you are. In the fox world, they hold a similar importance. Names are given at birth, before the powers of the fox are revealed. Names are mostly chosen by the parents, though in some cases unnamed orphan kits/pups will be named by other foxes. On occasion, the 5 elders have sought fit to change the name of specific kits/pups, most notably in the case of Snow Spirit, who eventually became the alpha of Shining Moon. (More may be updated about her story and life in a future thread). Names follow in two distinct naming patterns amongst the tribes, one much more commonly than another. Two-part Names These names are the most common amongst the Tribes. They follow a two-name pattern, one of which often describes the other half. Although, this does not happen in all cases. Password: Name any of the Tribe Founders. These names were inherited down from before Snow Lily's reign, and were common throughout the region of the territories. Some examples are, Rain Fall Orange Blossom Crimson Flicker Dew Feather
Three-part Names Three-part names are much rarer amongst the tribes, and were passed down through fox's who came from Meadow of Flower's ancestors. Meadow of Flower's, a foreigner to the territories, came with a small group of foxes who passed down the naming tradition into the tribes. While not popular, the tradition hangs around and can be found for some foxes. These names are typically also descriptions of something, with the word at/on/of/in between the two. Some examples are, Star at Dawn Leaf on River Flame of Night Frost in Shadow
Names Outside of the Tribes There does not seem to be any sort of pattern to the names of loners or tamed foxes. Most are one word, though occasionally there are some who contrast that pattern. Tamed foxes typically have strange names, as they are given by their Furless Owner. Loner's have no distinct naming rituals however.

Ranks:
Alpha: The alphas of a tribe, they lead and manage their tribe. Each tribe has two leaders, usually a mated pair and occasionally close friends. These pairs are usually one male and female, or a female and female. Very few accounts of tribes led by two males have been found, as typically in these cases because the males have a more difficult time sharing power with another male it ends in bloodshed. The few remembered tales of tribes led by two males have ended with civil wars and blood baths. The leaders of the tribe assign mentors to novices, receive prophecies or omens at the Sky of No Stars, and keep the tribe running properly. One of the leaders will have the Head Healer for a beta, and the other will have a chosen Theta or Delta for a beta. As a leader grows close to death or at a time of their choosing, they will choose who will be the next leader and groom/teach that fox so as to best fit the position after their death or retirement. They have the final say in whether a novice is ready to Walk the Paths.
Betas: The betas of a tribe are composed of the Head Healer of a tribe, and a chosen Theta or Delta. Each beta is mainly managed by one of the leaders, though they answer to both of them. Unlike leaders, betas can be of any genders as being a beta does not mean they will become a leader. The Head Healer of the tribe manages all the other healers and is the one in charge of organizing herb hunting groups, organizing the herb supplies, and the primary teacher of new healers. The chosen Theta or Delta will organize hunting patrols, border patrols, and decide when (with the help of their mentor) a novice will be able to Walk the Paths.
Theta: A Theta is the warrior of the Tribes. They hunt, fight, do patrols and train novices. They make up the bulk of the tribe and are composed of foxes with all different powers. After a novice has spent two moons in camp, a mentor will be assigned to them and the Theta will carry out their training. Usually, mentors are assigned due to similar powers.
Healers: These foxes heal the tribe. All of them, so far anyways, have the power of healing, and empathy is a typical second power for them. All foxes with the power of healing must become a healer. The closest these foxes get to battle is when performing as a field medic of sorts, healing others on the battlefield. Healers are allowed to have mates, as there are usually 5 or 6 of them. They are present in all the tribes.
Deltas: These fast runners take messages and news between the tribes. They are the delegates of each tribe, and usually have good negotiating skills. Deltas often are not found inside camp, as they are usually running messages. Deltas also bring new novices from the Tribe of the Blossoming Willow to their tribe, which happens every Half-moon. These foxes have the most knowledge and understanding of other tribes cultures and differences between them. Most foxes with the power of increased speed, or teleportation take this rank, rather than Theta.
Novice: Foxes in the process of training to be able to control their powers. Foxes over the age of 4 moons travel from the Tribe of the Blossoming Willow with a delta to their new homes. Each tribe has relatively different mannerisms and cultures, so the Deltas help them grow used to their new culture as they are the most experienced with the cultures of other tribes. The Novices spend 2 moons growing used to their new homes, before they begin their official training with a chosen Theta. A Novice must train for at least 6 moons before becoming a Theta or Delta. Once they are deemed as ready, their mentor will ask the alpha who will make the final decision. If yes, the novice and their mentor will travel to the Paths where they will undergo a test to see if they are worthy of being a Theta.
Kit Mothers: Vixens who live in the Tribe of the Blossoming Willows while pregnant or until their kits/pups become novice age. Once they are revealed to be expecting, deltas or foxes intending to join The Guard escort them to the Tribe of Blossoming Willows where they will remain safely. The Kit Mother will remain inside Blossoming Willows until her children have grown old enough to choose a tribe for themselves.
Kits/Pups: Foxes under the age of 4 months living in the Tribe of the Blossoming Willow. Upon reaching 4 moons, unless they have a power that requires a particular environment , or on rare occasions a prophecy is interpreted, they choose which Tribe they may go to live in. Kits are female, Pups are male.
Elders All Elders reside in the Tribe of Blossoming Willows under care of the Guards along the rest of the Tribe. They will often assist Kit mothers, helping them teach their Kits/Pups about all of the Tribes and the religion that they follow. There are also the Five Elders who stay in relative isolation from the world within a cavern that only few are allowed in within the camp. They stay in isolation, allowing them to become more sensitive to prophecies and omens. They interpret these prophecies and, when necessary, inform the tribes of them. Whenever one of the Five Elders die, a prophecy is sent to them at some later time, telling who they should appoint as their replacement.

Powers/Abilities All tribe foxes have been found to have mystical powers which, with great amounts of control, they can master and use to assist them. Typically, a tribe fox will have 1 to 2 powers, the most one fox, outside of lore, has been seen to have has been 2. Most foxes will have one rarer power and then a more common power, though some have been found to have two rare powers. Several of the rarer powers have drawbacks and can cause many issues in a fox's life. Despite the advantages these powers give foxes, they live by the code that “A True Fox does not need to rely on their powers to survive”. Because of this, foxes tend to not use their powers when they can do something by paw instead. Extremely Common Powers Increased Speed- Fox has increased swiftness. Foxes with this ability are typically leaner and smaller.* Increased Strength- Fox is strong beyond the ability of other foxes. Typically, foxes with this ability are also bigger sized and have more muscle than others.* Barrier- Ability to create shields made out of magical energy around oneself or others. *= These abilities are typically accompanied by these traits, but it is undoubtedly their magical energy that allows them to increase their speeds and size so powerfully. In the case of a fox having both, they are a blend of the traits. Small with lots of muscle, Large but lean etc. etc.
Common Powers: Fire- Control and creation of flames. This is a common power amongst the Tribe of the Rising Sun. Despite being common, it is a difficult power to control, as untrained Foxes can accidentally set fires or lose control of one. Foxes with this power must spend many hours under the sunlight or in warm areas. They are more susceptible to cold, and typically have hot-tempers. Ice/Water- Control and creation of ice and water. This is a common power amongst the Tribe of the Shining Moon and Tribe of the Darkening Winds depending on the variation. Foxes with this power typically have low body temperatures, and are susceptible to heat. This power is slightly easier to use, but still has difficulties. Untrained Novices or Angered ice/water users have been known to create frost and ice spikes, and turn calm waters into vicious currents. Wind- Control and creation of wind or air currents. This power is slightly more rare amongst the tribes, but can be found amongst all of them. It's been found that most foxes with this power are descendents of a Tribe of the Darkening Winds fox. This power is much more versatile than others, but much more difficult to control. Foxes with this power must undergo harsh training to learn how to even channel a wind, but experts in this power are extremely creative. Some foxes have even learned how to use it to cause birds to force to land or fly certain directions. Earth- Control over earth and rocks. This power has only been found in the Tribe of the Tumbling Stone or the Tribe of the Shining Moon , as every fox with this power has joined due to their tribe camps closeness to the earth. This power is rather difficult to first learn, but after that they catch on quickly and use it well. Increased Senses- Increased hearing, sight, smell and taste. This can be a problem in loud areas and typically foxes with this ability are very particular about food. Uncommon Powers: Voice Throwing- The ability to imitate other animal sounds and make it sound like it is coming from another direction. This can be very useful for hunting, but strains a fox's voice. Light- Manipulation of light. This can be used to form balls of light or light beams that may blind an opponent. Experts with the power can bend light to hide themselves. After long term use, this power can cause loss of vision and even blindness if used for long enough. Typically found amongst Tribe of the Rising Sun foxes. They require more sunlight than most, and their power costs more energy. Darkness/Shadows: Manipulation of shadows. Users can make shadows larger and darker to hide themselves in. They typically have good night vision, and are usually found in the Tribe of the Darkening Winds. Invulnerability- A user of this power is not indestructible. But they are much harder to damage. They will likely never get scratches and very rarely are injured. Foxes with this power have a reduced feeling of touch. Empathy- Ability to sense other foxes feelings. While a slightly rarer ability, it is almost never found alone. Many foxes with a healing ability have this ability as their secondary power, though it is found amongst other ranks as well. It allows foxes to sense the pain, and if one is experienced enough, influence another fox's emotions. Rare Powers: Telepathy- Interpret and read another foxes thoughts. Despite being listed as rare, most tribes have at least one fox with this ability. It is listed as such because most telepaths can only send telepathic messages to others, and if focused very hard can sometimes hear replies. Sometimes, however, a fox has the ability to completely read another's thoughts. Unfortunately most foxes with this level of ability are driven insane or cast out for their ability to hear everyone's minds and true feelings, opinions, and plans. Electricity- The creation and control of lightning or electricity. This ability is rare due to its dangerous side effects. The electricity power tends to severely disable or kill users leading to it being very rare amongst the tribes. The only foxes found to succeed in use of this power have a secondary ability of invulnerability or can barely use it. Most kits/pups who have this power die after their first use. Weather- This power gives a fox the ability to control weather. It is has rather few uses though, only giving a fox the ability to make or stop rain, snow, or turn it to a calm day. Clouded Sky, former alpha of the Tribe of The Darkening Winds, was one of the most powerful users of this ability, being able to channel natural disasters, such as small-scale tornados and lightning storms. There is some debate whether this power is a power alone or the combination of multiple powers fused into one over the generations, as it was seen for the first time almost 160 years after the First Tribes. Very Rare Powers: Translator-Ability to speak and communicate with other animals and humans. It is a very rare power and extremely valued amongst deltas. It is very rare amongst the tribes, and not an altogether trusted ability as other than delta's, most foxes find it a strange power and don't like the idea of speaking with their food. So far every fox with this ability has become a delta. Healing- Ability to heal other foxes. Every fox that has this ability becomes a healer. It is very energy exhausting and takes very precise control to use well. It cannot be used by a fox on themselves. Typically, foxes with this power also have the power of empathy. Gravity- A very rare power that allows a fox to somewhat control the force of gravity. This power is surprisingly easy to use and control, with few side effects. Most likely, this is because it has very limited power. The only actual use of this power is to lighten or make the user more heavy. This allows them to hit harder, move faster or step lighter. Extremely Rare Powers: Dream Walking- The Ability to travel through and influence other foxes dreams. This power is very rare, as most foxes with it have never admitted to it. The last known fox to have such an ability was driven out and later killed when his tribe discovered he was intruding on the leaders dreams. Typically, it has been shown that foxes with this ability are healers or have a very common power. Teleportation- An extremely rare power, as young inexperienced users can have severe accidents that can kill them, such as half-teleporting or teleporting into dangerous areas. Foxes with this ability are taught from a young age to be very calm, as high anxiety or emotion can cause them to accidentally teleport. The most-well known user of this ability was Flash Leaf, one of the former leaders of the Tribe of the Tumbling Stone. The farthest distance it has been found that a fox could teleport was 50 bear-lengths. Banned/Completely Unseen Powers: Death- This power allows a fox to take the very life out of another living being. The ability is extremely harmful to the user though, using so much energy that if used it will likely kill them immediately. It is very rare, and a banned/disgraced power amongst the Tribes. Anyone with this power, if not killed by the power itself, has been executed and killed. It is seen as a dark power and anyone with it is seen as evil. Possession- The ability to take over another fox or another animal's body at will. While difficult to control and aim, this ability is extremely powerful. Fox worship the privacy of their own minds, and this power is seen as a great disgrace and evil power. All foxes in possession of this power were wiped out years ago. The Tribes’ Beliefs Stars sparkle in the small amount of sky you can see, light flickering from both the fire and the moonlight shining down from the Sky-Gazing Holes. You look around at your tribe mates. Most are talking with each other, a peaceful evening for the group. Silence falls slowly as your Alphas descends from the stone ledge they make their home. The two mates nuzzle each other gently, before coming to stand before the warm fire. "Gather around, everyone. Tonight, we speak of the gods."
Spriggen
The goddess of nature, Spriggen is depicted as a large deer with antlers towering over her head. Flowers and life sprout beneath her feet. She is known for being kind to those who please her, but merciless to those who don't. She has many children with the God of the Sky, Wil'Arta, who make up the majority of the other gods.
Wil'Arta
The god of the skai, Wil'Arta is shown to be a white owl of massive proportions, with three eyes. He is commonly seen resting on the antlers of his wife, Spriggen. He, along with his wife, control the seasons and weather, allowing for the passage of time. Due to his image, white owls are believed to be his messengers.
Liata
Goddess of water, she is the oldest daughter of Wil'Arta and Spriggen. She is seen as a white sparrow, with wings so large they can wrap around the whole earth. In some stories it's believed she became the moon, after her father disapproved of her love for the god of fire, Fakal, and turning him into the sun. She is believed to be a kind, graceful, yet sad creature, forever chasing her true love across the skies.
Fakal
The god of fire, Fakal is a golden phoenix. He is seen to be a stubborn, but warm and positive figure. Forever standing up for those who are thrown down or left behind, he is a hero in many tales. It's believed that Wil'Arta turned him into the sun, though some tales say Fakal tricked him and is in hiding, searching for a way to free his love, Liata.
Elktria
The god of electricity, he is the brother to Liata and son of Spriggen and Wil'Arta. He is seen as a calm-minded buck, his antlers shaped like lightning strikes, with a third eye like his father. Despite the element he represents, he is rather grounded and stern, much like his father.
Sival'o
The goddess of darkness and shadows, Sival'o is an elusive serpent. She is seen as a patron for liars and thieves, and the Tribe of the Darkening Winds pray to her more commonly than any other god. She is a devious, sarcastic, and tricky god.
D'Liago
The god of Light, D'Liago is seen as a lion with a golden pelt, and large wings. He is believed to be a guardian of truth and justice, forever seeking out Sival'o for her lies and crimes.
Tar'ion
Tar'ion is the god of ice, cold, and frost. He's commonly depicted as a large white dragon with blue underscales and frost-tipped wings. It's believed that he wakes up at the end of Long-Sun, and uses his frost breath to cool the world so he may return to sleep. Other than that, he is commonly depicted as a sarcastic, lazy, and usually grumpy god, that finds the creatures of the world as little more than annoyances. Darugo
Goddess of death, Darugo is seen as the skeleton of a fox, believed to be the first fox created in the world and the first creature to die. She is the protector of spirits, carrying them to the other gods to decide on reincarnation.

Landmarks: Each tribe territory has some familiar landmarks used to get around better and identify their location.
River Falls- A large canyon on the border of the Tribe of the Tumbling Stone and the Tribe of the Rising Sun. The river that separates the two territories goes over the edge hear, falling some lengths. It has been the sight of much debate between the two tribes, and many notable battles have occurred here.
The Oasis- A large pool of water in the Tribe of the Shining Moon’s territory. Heavily populated with herbs and flowers, Shining Moon’s healers spend much time tending and caring for the plants there.
Steam Springs- On the border of the Tribe of the Rising Sun and the Tribe of the Blossoming Willows borders. It is a naturally occurring hot springs that elders, kit-mothers, and injured foxes use to ease aching joints, bones, and to relax muscles.
Jagged Tooth Cave- A supposedly haunted cave in the Tribe of the Darkening Winds territory. Lore states that some kind of monster was trapped in its depths, and still waits there today, to be released and kill its captors.
Nightwatch Tower- A large stone tower built by Furless hundreds of years ago. The castle it was connected to has been buried under dirt and stone, and now the Tribe of the Darkening Winds uses it as watch post.
Golden Stream- A glowing river in the heart of the Tribe of the Blossoming Willows territory. Shining stones at the bottom lets it glow even during the darkest of nights.
Hunting Cave and Trails- A Furless cave in the Tribe of the Shining Moon’s territory. Furless tend to use it during the Long Sun, for hunting and fishing at a nearby lake.
Rock Pool- A sandy pool with large stones in the Tribe of the Tumbling Stone’s territory. Believed to have been the location of Tumbling Stone’s death. Some believe his ghost still haunts it.
Dry Crescent- A crescent shaped dried-river bed in the Tribe of the Shining Moon’s territory.
Silent Forest- A burnt down forest outside of the Tribe of the Shining Moon’s territory. Incredibly eerie to be in, it has only recently shown signs of regrowing.
The Park- A large park in the heart of the Furless camp (or city). Home to many lone foxes. High Stones- Large boulders in the Tribe of the Rising Sun’s territory, set atop a hill. A good lookout post for the territory, it is also used as a place to bathe in the sun by fire-powered foxes.
Also, I'm basically the master of the lore, so if at any point you have questions about a part of it feel free to ask: I have everything down to a sharp understanding (And if you ask questions you may get some fun-facts )

Current AlligiencesTribe of the Rising Sun
Alphas:Betas:Healers:Thetas:Deltas: [Darting Cloud / N/A / 30 moons]
Powers: Wind and currently working on Voice Throwing
Parental Tribe (Optional):
Tribe of the Shining Moon
Appearance/Species:
Darting Cloud has silver fur with a white blaze and muzzle and hazel eyes.
Personality:
Darting Cloud is one of the more level-headed of the Rising Sun members, most likely due to her Shining Moon family and role as a Delta. Despite this, she is very cheerful and affectionate, with a seemingly endless supply of energy. As well as her duties running messages, Darting Cloud takes her duties in education the clan's new members in history and religion very seriously. In fact, she is renowned for her storytelling abilities. Despite Darting Cloud's normally friendly open-minded demeanour, she can become incredibly stubborn when her values are questioned and is slow to forgive. She's also prone to taking on more than she can handle and stretching herself too thin.
Family: [Open Sibling: SM] Mother died before Darting Cloud and sibling chose Tribe. Darting Cloud chose Rising Sun whereas Sibling went to the Paternal Tribe of Shining Moon.
Novices: Tribe of the Shining Moon

Novices:
Tribe of the Darkening Winds
Alphas: [Howling Blizzard / N/A / 50 moons old] (Theta)
Powers: Wind and Ice
Appearance: Blue-eyed Arctic fox with pale grey paws, eartips, and tailtip
Personality: He is a very calm fox, who'll never do anything without thinking. However some foxes might complain he is taking too long doing so. Quite distant to other Tribes, especially Shining Moon, for some reason, but, his Tribemates view him as a sympathetic fox. Novices think he's a "cool" one, until he refuses them to Walk the Pathes if he judges them not ready. Will be the fiercest of fighters if he thinks it's for the right reason.
Family: [Mate/Siblings open, Parents/Kits closed]: Not much is known about Howling Breeze's parents
Other: He sometimes can combine his powers in deadly blizzard strikes.
Betas: [Sky Flower / N/A / 45 moons old] (Healer) Powers: Healing, Empathy
Appearance/Species: Arctic Marble Fox
Personality: Sky Flower is a very warm and dedicated healer who will always try to help a tribe mate in pain, even if that pain is a need to vent about their terrible day. During the cold seasons, she's spent many a sleepless night ensuring her tribe mates stay healthy. Unfortunately, she tends to overlook her own needs and becomes very snappish in times of high stress. Though Sky Flower bears the role of beta with pride and serves with everything she has, she secretly wonders whether she was the right choice for the role.
Family: [Closed?]: Unknown
Healers: [Quick Blast / N/A / 31 moons old]
Powers: Healing and Increased Senses
Appearance/Species Red tod with yellow eyes.
Personality: Quick Blast is a rather excitable fox that will frequently nerd out over herbs if you let him. He originally wanted to be a Delta, although due to him having the healing power, he took the Healer's role without complaint. He has a driving force that keeps his energy to devote everything towards his tribe, however this results in him being slightly niave, finding it hard to comprehend when betrayals happen.
Family: [Completely Open, No mate/kits as of yet]
Thetas: [Icy Bluff / Black Night / 60 moons old]
Powers: Increased Strength, Barrier Appearance/Species:
Icy Bluff has a dark gray pelt, approaching black at the paws and snout.
Personality:
Icy Bluff is a fox of few words and open ears. He prefers to serve his clan through actions rather than words. After all, what good is bragging when it can't be backed up? When Icy Bluff does speak, his speech is sharp and to the point. Some might see him as untrustworthy, but he's quite the opposite. He prides himself as an excellent confidant, as no word escapes him by accident. But beware, those who'd threaten his tribe. The governing rule of his life is the good of the tribe over all else.
Family: [Thunder at Night's Brother, Mate/Kits/Parents closed] Parents unknown, rumored mother Tumbling Stones that mated with rogue
[Thunder at Night / Scarlet River / 60 moons old]
Powers: Invulnerability, and Electricity
Appearance/Species: A very dark grey - almost black - vixen with slighly lighter dapples over her back, shoulders and legs. She has a striking, white bolt-shaped stripe, running from her left cheek, over her shoulder, and ending at mid-lenght of her body. Her eyes are a bright, pale blue.
Personality: She's surprisingly friendly for a Darkening Winds fox, at least in appearance, as she really hardly gets close to other foxes. Her open-mind and negociating skills would have made her a good Delta, though she is so passionate about her Theta duties that, actually, no one doubts that she has chosen the right role. She'll be the most loyal of friends to the ones she's close to, she would never let anyone down, who needs her.
Family: [Icy Bluff's sister, Kits open, Mate/Parents Closed] Not much is known about her family, although suspected Tumbling Stones. [Rest trimmed until hear back from owner]
Deltas: [Day Song / N/A / 28 moons old]
Powers: Light and Animal Translation
Appearance/Species: Small light ginger tod with light green eyes. One ear is very jagged and ripped.
Personality Day Song is a quick-thinking and intelligent young fox, he is very good at negotiating and getting the Tribe what they need. He is quite charismatic, which makes him well-liked amongst the Tribes, and due to his small stature, does not seem as much of a threat. However, he’s also very adept at being sneaky to get the best deal. Other Tribes, while they like him, are cautious to get into negotiations with him.
Family: [Completely open, no mate/kits]
Other: Is currently stuck outside of the snowed in camp, but do not expect that to stop them for long.
Novices:
[Black Night / Theta Novice / 8 moons old]
Powers: He is currently learning how to control water.
Appearance/Species: Black Night's fur is a dark, almost black, smoky grey colour. He has white ears. From his ears run a pair of white lines that go down his neck, over his shoulders, and onto his back. They form into a large white stripe, which runs down his back, and slowly becomes smaller as it goes along. It runs down to the tip of his tail. The tip of his tail has three white rings that are roughly half an inch apart from each other. His eyes are pine green in colour.
Personality: Black Night is very unfriendly to other tribes, and loves sarcasm and insulting those he doesn't like. He is very independent, and doesn't like to get close to others. He likes to experiment with his powers, and to see what he can do. He questions a lot of things, and often complains about certain things.
Family: [Closed] Parent's names and tribes unknown, appearances were known.
Other: Dark Night was born on a very dark night during the new moon phase. He was named after the night's darkness by his mother. He finds the sound of thunder encouraging, and he likes to watch lightning.
Mentor: Icy Bluff
[Scarlet River / Theta Novice / 23 Moons old]
Powers: Ice and Dream Walking
Appearance/Species: Red Vixen with a white belly and black paws and eartips, and a white tailtip. Her pelt is more pale-red than it is ginger or orange, but still looks like a normal red fox.
Personality: Since Scarlet has the 'dream walking' ability she believes that since its rare, she is royalty and deserves to be treated greatly. She'll snap at you and freak out if you question her even a teensy bit and tends to irritate and annoy most foxes.
Family: [Closed] Her mother, Iced Heart, died while birthing her from bloodloss and was a gray vixen with black paws. Her father died from freezing to death only two moons after, leaving her parentless.
Other: She has yet to be approved to walking the path of stars, leaving her still a Theta Novice.

So, where do I sign up? (Note: You do not need to declare a species for a fox) (Note: You do not need to declare a family already, however you can set up your own family trees if you want or you can declare your family open-ended if you want to form a family with other RP'ers. Father and Mother preferred, deceased or not) (Note: If you are creating a Novice, please put their rank as Delta Novice, Theta Novice, or Healer Novice, depending on what role they are training for) Name: Powers: Tribe: Rank: Parental Tribe (Optional): Age (Roughly): Appearance/Species: Personality: Family: Password: Other:

(Yay, someone finally signed up) Accepted!
Just so you know, just because of the high amount of RP'ers required to run this big of an RP, we'll probably start out with only 2-3 Tribes (Not including Blossoming Willow). This is mainly just to prevent complete dissipation and having like only 4 foxes per tribe or something. The other Tribes will exist during this time, just not RP'ed.
Also, I'll add this on to Sign up sheet notes, but can you please specify what type of Novice Black Night is? (Delta/Theta/Healer Novice) Also, just as a quick note, being a Darkening Winds fox, he will likely be trained in his Ice side of the power rather than the Water, although in the end, he will be able to utilize both.
And I'm guessing his family tree is closed rather than open?

M'kay.
He's a Theta novice.
And alright. I'm 100% okay with switching from mainly water to mainly ice.
His family tree is closed on the parent's side, however, i'll allow somebody to make their character his brother/sister as long as their fox is either black with white markings or white with black markings, and has either green or amber eyes.

Name: Darting Cloud
Powers: Wind and currently working on Voice Throwing
Tribe: Tribe of the Rising Sun
Rank: Delta
Parental Tribe (Optional): Tribe of the Shining Moon
Age (Roughly): 30 moons
Appearance/Species: Darting Cloud has silver fur with a white blaze and muzzle and hazel eyes.
Personality: Darting Cloud is one of the more level-headed of the Rising Sun members, most likely due to her Shining Moon family and role as a Delta.
Family: Her mother and sibling are both Shining Moon foxes. At least, her mother was until she died. This made choosing her tribe a heart-wrenching decision for Darting Cloud, but she'd do it all over again in a heartbeat. I'd like to leave the role of her sibling open to other users, just as long as the sibling is a member of the Tribe of the Shining Moon.
Password: Rising Sun
Other: Since Darting Cloud is a good storyteller, may I have the rundown on some of the religious stories, such as Fakal and Liata, as well as the tales of important historical events and battles?

Accepted! Also, I know most people here will be used to RP'ing cats, so I'm going to probably point these out for a while until people get used to it: "Her mother and sibling are both Shining Moon *cats*." - I get it, just something to get used to (This comment is not meant to be taken harshly, just a friendly nudge) Also, I'll say this before this occurs too many times and becomes a misconception (And in a sense it adds to your Other section): Every fox is gifted their powers from the Gods at their time of birth. So as soon as they are newborn they possess their powers, although granted it may take some time for the newborns to actually use their ability for their first time. Foxes spend a portion of their Novice training in getting used to and mastering these powers. Granted they may graduate while still having one of their less-role-essential abilities not that well developed (i.e. a Healer's ability that is not Healing, Delta's non-movement ability). It is less likely that Thetas graduate without having fully developed powers, though, considering they have to Walk the Path. (Note: Fully Developed =/= Mastered) - So considering that Darting Cloud has their Wind fully developed, yeah, they are fine. About additional lore, you can find a bit more about it here: docs.google.com/document/d/1NaR_8LiC9TfPq4fVen2dTHgqB1oTDXYaJ3MngB08NLQ/edit?usp=sharing(Only mind the first page, though - the rest is just the Creation Story and the Gen 2 lore which we aren't using) About stories more specifically, I can get more in detail about the Power of Possession lore (Also about the Jagged Tooth Cave story, although considering it is a Darkening Winds landmark and Darting Cloud is Rising Sun, she probably won't tell any stories about it - that is if she even knows it herself) And why are you asking about Fakal and Liata? Those two are the ones with a real established story - It's up to you to silver throat them to form an actual narrative. Also, feel free to take your own creative freedoms with tales, albeit that you stick moderately to their established characters. Like just glancing towards the list, I can easily see things you can sparkle the tale of those two gods with, like Elkria stepping in on it. Which side do you think he would take? Also, the fact that they are basically ordered in opposites can create some simple plotlines (Only Darugo and Tar'ion do not have a direct counterpart here - and that's excluding things like Tar'ion's dependency on Wil'Arta's seasons - which could very well be a plotline you can use). In the end, try not to worry about redtape too much when it comes to them and take your own liberties. Just try to keep everything within their own characters (Like don't have D'Liago backstab all of the other Gods).

Oh, whoops, thanks for the tip! I don't know how I missed that. And I know that different people have different ways they'd like people to handle their lore, so it's good to know you don't mind me taking creative liberties. And I'd love to to hear more about the possession lore!
