(Whelp, at least I can say Quick Breeze was another fox in the original casts. As to why I did Howling Breeze I'm not too sure) (Also, I meant for it to still be snowing heavily, so I'll put more emphasis on that point this time ) Hearing his Alpha's voice faintly from outside, Quick Blast calls out, "It's okay! I've got enough supplies in here to last a while, help someone else who isn't as lucky! And be careful out there!" His ears flattened back as he called out, his voice blasting back at him, and he hopes that his voice actually managed to pierce the snow-covered entrance. Day Song heads back from Shining Moon's territory, having stayed the night there at their Delta's den after doing a light check on their camp. As he approaches, though, his eyes widen slightly as he sees the blizzard storm clouds stalling over their territory. Frowning slightly, he could tell there was little point in heading back, assuming that there would be gale-force winds there, making reaching the camp near-impossible without getting himself killed. Pausing to investigate the pattern from a distance, Day Song was able to make out that the clouds seemed to be staying steady in the mountain range, not moving onto the other territory, and with a slight tilt of his head, he infers that there was likely a Weather fox behind this. Glancing along the border, slowly, Day Song starts heading along it, trying to do a solo patrol to see if he could spot any possible culprits.

Icy Bluff watched as Thunder at Night turned round and round and yelled out. Frustration clawed at him as he silently eyed the snow, although the dim light wasn't helping with that. He hoped that the early snowstorm was just an off event, as an early Cold Sun would mean sparse prey. Suddenly, he was struck with an idea. He turned to Thunder at Night and asked, "While you were trying to break out, did you notice any spots that seemed weaker than the rest?" With his enhanced strength, he might be able to break through.
Sky Flower counted the herbs with Quick Blast, recounting how many Tribemates had gotten sick last Cold Sun and how many herbs they typically used. If Cold Sun had come early, she wanted to be prepared. She was halfway through counting the raspberry leaves when Howling Blizzard's voice drew her from her work. That was one fox out - now how many more? "I'll let Quick Blast answer for himself," she yelled. "But are there any more out with you?"

Quick Blast's eyes flash slightly as Sky Flower beside him also responded to Howling Blizzard's call. With it being so faint to hear over the harsh gale with the wind of snow outside the cave, he had thought it was only his increased senses that were able to hear them. But perhaps being stuck in the blackness for so long had taken a toll on them. Turning back towards Sky Flower, he comments lightly in suggestion, not wanting to undermine either his Alpha or Beta, "I really don't think it's safe to be out there, yet. I think that the storm is in full-swing still and that everyone is better off staying in the shelter of their dens." Maybe his Alpha was trying to scavenge supplies from the Food Pile so they could be able to survive longer in their den, but he did not have much confidence in that endeavor, knowing that most of it would be far too buried underneath the snow to be found. Perhaps that's why they were heading for their den, then... Maybe they were trying to get some of the edible supplies from them.

Sky Flower turned her attention to Quick Blast. "You're right. That's why I asked if anyone was out there with him. If there is, we'll need to know how long they've been out so we can keep an eye on them for signs of cold-sick." (Do foxes have a word for hypothermia?) She glanced back at their herb supply. "To tell you the truth, I'm worried about our herb supply. Plants in our territory are generally a little hardier, but I fear some of our last harvests might die in this storm. We'll need them if Cold Sun has come this early."

(They call it Frozen Cough)
Quick Blast nods in agreement, "I was not expecting a storm this harsh this quickly. I had thought we still had a good half-moon before the first frost hit." He says, slightly catching some of his Beta's stress, "This will be a hard Cold Sun." He continues, feeling like he may have failed his tribe by not being more prepared for this storm. "Although I will definitely look after the storm! And if it comes to worst we can try to resort to using our power for it!" Quick Blast says after a moment, trying to keep enthusiastic, or rather just avoid being dragged down in stress too much in the present situation.

Howling Blizzard nodded at Quick Blast's answer. -No, seems like I'm the only one who managed to get out for now. Alright, I'll see how the Thetas are doing, then. Hope the storm won't last too long. It hit before we were really prepared... He headed to the Thetas' cave, passing in front of where the Prey Pile used to be. Any prey in it was probably buried under a thick layer of snow. Trying to get it back would be uselessly difficult. Though, if it keeps snowing, it'll be a precious resource. Better keep it buried right now, at least the snow might prevent the prey from turning to Rotten Food. The wind seemed like it just kept getting colder, and the snow, was still falling heavily. The arctic fox shook off the snow that was already soaking his fur. Finally, it would've been safer to stay in my den... No, I need to make sure everyone is alright before. He trotted up to the snowed in cave, and called out; - Hey, is everyone alright? Do you need any help?
Thunder at Night sat down and lifted a paw up to her muzzle, with an exasperated sigh. - Ugh, how dumb of I! I just kept trying to dig at the bottom of the snow pile, while the top is certainly easier to dig out! She flicked her tail slightly in annoyance. What had she been thinking about? The imprisonment was seemingly already getting to her brain. She got back up and approached the snow pile, when she faintly heard her Alpha's voice outside. He apparently was asking if they were alright. - Yeah, don't worry about us! I guess we're fine. Even though I feel like I'll be going crazy if I stay stuck in there for any longer. Uh, wait, how did you even break through all that snow?

Sky Flower sighed in relief at her Alpha's response. She called out to him as he left, "Make sure the Thetas stay in their dens! We don't want anyone catching Frozen Cough!" She then turned to Quick Blast.
"Thanks for volunteering to look for herbs. I'd love to go with you, but I think I'll remain here to check over everyone and in case something happens. And of course we can always use our power if worse comes to worst. It's just taxing, and if something really bad happens, you usually want your healers in good shape." Her Empathy abilities pricked at her as she spoke. "Oh, and Quick Blast," she said. "Don't blame yourself. I don't think the most weather-sensitive elders could predict this."
Meanwhile, Icy Bluff heard his Alpha calling out to them through the snow. "We're fine," he said. "Although, I think my sister's catching den fever. Is it safe to come out?" If we even can through this giant wall, he thought.

Quick Blast nods, already knowing this fact of how they should try not to be dependent on his power alone to heal others. At her second comment though, he replies "I know, it's just..." He trails off for a moment, turning away from her back towards the snow pile. "It's just that I know I could've managed to harvest a lot more herbs if I'd tried." Stepping towards the snow pile, Quick Blast quickly bites up a jawful of snow, shivering slightly as the coldness entered his mouth, but keeps the snow inside it before it turned to water and he was able to drink down the cold water.

Howling Blizzard flicked his ears slightly. He thought he had faintly heard Sky Flower advising not to let anyone get out. He was getting to think she was right, the wind kept feeling colder and colder, despite his thick fur and his cold, icy blood. "- Not sure about that, though. Icicles aren't falling from the sky, though it wouldn't be so much of an exaggeration. Healers think it's safer to stay in the dens, but I'm sure we probably will be able to get out soon enough." Anyways, at some point we will have to. I hope the storm will be over by then. He turned back, facing what used to be the Prey Pile, and the enttrance of his den, hesitating to come back in. He sent a prayer up to Tar'ion, praying for him to take pity and stop the frost from burying them in the snow and ice while they couldn't even prepare themselves.
Thunder at Night couldn't believe what she was hearing. What, they couldn't even get out? It couldn't be that bad, was it? She knew how level-headed and, well, not too fast in acting, Howling Blizzard could be. But yet, the Healers agreed with him, so, he must have been right. "But what do we do, then? We can't just wait here to starve or turn into rocks? If Cold-Sun has already started, soon, there will be nearly no prey nor herbs left, we don't have much time left to get ourselves prepared, and we're just waiting there until we run out of time?" What did you even say? You're not supposed to contradict your Alpha! But what if he's wrong? Remember your training! They always taught you to make the Tribe's needs pass before yours! If everyone did that, there wouldn't be any Tribe, because every fox would have got themselves killed! "- Right. If you think that's the best thing to do, then we will stay here. What I was saying, is that we won't be able to wait forever."

I'm not posting an RP part here, (Still waiting for Quick Blast response and reluctant to do another Day Song part as to not spread everything too thin yet, considering that forestpelt and 86 have yet to do any parts) But I just wanted to share with you guys this, in case any of you are interested. It is the story of Dragon Whisker and what happened to him. (This happened years in the past, so it would be more of a myth than a narrative at this point if any of you refer to it within RP): docs.google.com/document/d/1U7eIy3ckjCrW3AFlr2ilFVzux0AH9RJtHDfVIS_DUHk/edit

Sky Flower smiled softly at Quick Blast's statement. "You're a strong and dedicated healer, Quick Blast. I'm proud to have you by my side. But herb patrols are my duty, so if anyone's to blame for not stocking up on more herbs, it's me," she said. Sky Flower closed her eyes and sighed, imagining what would've happened if she'd sent just one extra patrol. "But there's no use crying over missed prey. We'll check the herb patches for what's left after the storm ends, then go from there."

Quick Blast smiles slightly in appreciation at the Arctic fox's reassurance, although part of him could not help but feel guilty nonetheless. Quick Blast pausing for several moments, only the faint sound of the howling wind outside preventing total silence. After the brief break, he breaks the silence by munching on the snow that hadn't melted in his mouth yet before swallowing it down. "Make sure you don't get dehydrated," He says, walking back into the den away from the snow mound. Settling back into the den, Quick Blast continues talking, half to himself as he continues feeling himself get colder as the snow's effects lingered, "I wished there would be a Fire-giver that could just survive the cold. Like, Fakal protected and all. I know why it can't happen, but times like these just makes me wish we had a fire. Even if it didn't help our herb problem, it could help prevent some from getting Frozen-Cough..." As he spoke, he slowly curles himself up, trying to maintain body heat from the cold.

Scarlet River seemed to stride out of her den, the vixens' nose wrinkled in disgust at all of the other foxes. She sniffed around and looked for any food, but decided against it. "Wow. Its cold, why don't we get those rising sun peasants to come over here to warm us up? They'd probably be glad, 'humble' eagle-prey pieces of dung."

Um... Sorry, but no (Does not really know how to say this gently). Please read from the start until you get a gist of the situation. Basically, everyone has been snowed into their den with a harsh blizzard starting a day ago that is still going on at this point. If Scarlet River is snowed inside the Novice den, as far as I know, no other foxes have RP'ed in there, however, I would assume Black Night could possibly also be inside there.
Currently, Quick Blast and Sky Flower are inside Healer's den, Howling Blizzard is out in the blizzard, having managed to get out of their den (which I've let slide for now, provided they (technically) gave sufficient reason as how they were able to break out of their den), and Thunder at Night and Icy Bluff are both stuck inside the Theta Den.
