Wake up..
Hello there, Small kit... It seems you're quite unlucky.., for you've been born in Pineclan...my clan.
Most kits here are born with disease or defects, and its common for cats to die of sickness and find things like maggots and parasites in their nests.
Please, don't be weary, little kit. You may be born into this clan of sorrow, but I will protect you. My name is Pineneedle, or Pinestar. I will protect you with every fiber of my being. Now, its time for you to wake up....
Welcome to Pineclan.
Hello, welcome to my second-ever roleplay. (At least on this forum.)
You've ended up in Pineclan, and this clan was NOT my idea. It was Nightspark's, so thank him for this wonderfully disturbing clan! Now, here's the interesting part..the territory & clan camp.
The Territory
The Fallen Rock: A rock just outside camp that had fallen moons ago, crushing Pineclan cats under it as they tried to bring happiness to their clan by feasting with what little prey they had. If you climb on top of it, you can jump on top of the clan camp and look around, but watch your step on the roof.
Theres' still visible dried blood on the bottom of the rock.
Acorn Woods: Surrounding the Pineclan camp is a long stretch of woods, full of wolves, foxes, any threat to a cat you can name. The prey they catch is mostly already dead and rotten, but sometimes skilled hunters bring back fresh prey for the weakest of the Pineclan cats. There are various clearings, the main one leading to..
The Stinging Nettle Tree (Nettle Tree): A small, but wide tree with an owl-hole in the middle. The leaves on this tree are frizzy-feeling and will sting you if you touch them. Mentors train their apprentices how to avoid the leaves that fall from the tree each season, and if they do get stung to go and wash it off in a creek or river.
Marsh Brook: Near the edge of Acorn woods, there is a Brook. But the Book is surrounded by mud and thornbushes. You can get a drink, but the large brook is full of twoleg rubbish and a strange, muddy-black liquid. Most who aren't cautious get sick from the water.
Wasp Nest: At the beginning of Acorn woods, in front of camp, There is a wasp nest full of the aggressive insects. Kits who sneak out, and early apprentices underestimate the pain of a wasp sting and get stung quite often.
The Swimming River: Behind the camp, there is a small rocky waterfall that leads down to a narrow River. This River still has twoleg litter surrounding it, but it isn't as bad as the marsh brook. Mentors take their apprentices here to train, and cats come here to try and unwind and calm down with others, but anyone who goes in the river tends to wrench a paw or hit their head off of rocks and get injured if they cannot fight the current.
Abandoned Bridge: Over the swimming river, there is a rotted, old wooden bridge made by twolegs with plants growing on it. Any cat who tries to walk on this bridge has a high chance of falling into the swimming river from the fragility of the old wood.
The Grieving Yard: Behind the Fallen Rock, outside of camp there is a corner surrounded by brambles and reeds where cats go to mourn. They place shiny rocks or flowers they find and put them in places to remember any cat they came there for. Although it is a sad spot, there are small patches of golden flowers inside of the small, protected yard.
Sunflower Reeds: On the other edge of Acorn woods, there is a small clearing. It is one of the only sunny spots in Pineclan territory, and there is a large sunflower in the middle of the clearing. It is surrounded by large reeds, and has herbs growing around it. Pineclan cats who believe in Starclan go here to worship their ancestors in hope of some help for survival.
The Camp
The camp is inside an old twoleg nest, with two floors. The top floor has two rooms without walls, The Nursery and the Leaders' Den. The Camp is extremely old, and ivy grows on each outside wall of the house. The floor is no longer wood, and is a dark stone with moss on it. Everything gets closer to breaking or collapsing every day, but where else could the cats go?
Leaders' Den/Highrock
Further up, away from all the other dens is the Leaders' den. You can access it by climbing up strange twoleg blocks (stairs) and it is an empty space with brambles and dead plants surrounding it. The leaders' den is lined with moss, or wilted flowers. The Leaders' den is quite a sight, but it gets closer to collapsing on the other dens every day from how old the structure is.
Abandoned Medicine Cat Den
Pineclan used to have medicine cats, until disaster struck and brutally killed each one of them. Pinestar decided it would be better for everyone if they all fended for themselves in the healing type of things, and taught eachother all they knew about herbs. The den is in the back corner, next to the twoleg-nest door. The inside is muddy and swampy, and you can only dig out wet, muddy moss and rotten herbs since it is disused and nobody is strong enough to take it down.
Warriors' Den
The Warriors' Den is under the Nursery, and is a collection of ivy and small bramble thickets. There are rotted pieces of wood surrounding the den, which warriors try to use to sharpen their claws with. They claw moss out of the ground with their claws to give to elders, the leader, and nursing queens/kits to use for bedding. Inside, there is a small tunnel in the wood that leads down to a bigger underground opening, where some cats sleep while others are too scared of the house caving in on them underground.
Apprentices' Den
The Apprentices is under the Leaders' Den, And is made mostly out of Ivy and small stones, with a few reeds. The den is messily tied together with the stones blocking out cold air, but Apprentices complain of the cold at night in leaf-bare. This den has a small hole in the back, and parasites and maggots come out of the small hole and get in cats' nests easily, sometimes in other Dens too.
Nursery
In a tightly-woven den of reeds and brambles, the nursery is hidden by large ferns growing in the twoleg house and weeds. The queens tend to get extremely sick before kitting, and some kits die before they're even born. The queens get sick from huge patches of mold in the dark walls near the twoleg-nest walls of the den.
There is no Elders' den, due to the fact most warriors die before they're old enough to retire as an Elder.
Now, Its time for Rules!
1. No Powerplaying/Godmoding/Etc. If your cat has fire magic or can't die, or insta-kills other cats then you will be warned and then kicked from the RP if you do it again.
2. Try to make realistic pelts or diseases for your cats. Please don't have a purple cat with a flesh-eating disease that somehow is still alive.
3. You may make prophecies or character arcs, but please ask me first.
4. PLEASE Try to be active. You can go inactive for a day or two, but if you're gone for an entire act i'll ask where you've been, and if you leave for a long period of time without telling us first you will be kicked from the RP.
5. Have fun, or Pinestar will sacrifice you to an eagle! ))
ALLEGIANCES
Leader: Pinestar
Small, long-furred Brown she-cat with darker brown markings and icy, but gentle and tired blue eyes and a big, bushy tail.
Deputy: None
(Chosen by a Random generator once theres' enough people)
Warriors:
Kestrelcry
Orange Tom-cat with Light blue eyes and a white belly/paws/eartips/Tailtip, has clouded vision but can still see, has minor herb knowledge.
Kestrel is roughly 20 moons old, and is very timid. He's best at treating scratches and nettle stings, but also tries to help sick cats if even possible at times. Kestrel is very passionate about things he believes in, even in Pineclans' dark times and will go on long rants about those things, which most people don't enjoy. He has sharp teeth, but is missing a front one from getting it ripped out and stuck in the pelt of a fox.
More soon.
Apprentices:
Spiderpaw
Appearance: Spiderpaw is a dark brown tom cat with black paws, tail, muzzle, and ears. He has black chest-fur with a white diamond-shaped patch of fur in the middle of it. The black on his paws extend up to where the human wrist would be. He has a white tail-tip, and amber eyes. He has black nose, black paw pads, and short, yet sharp, black claws. He has white ear-fur.
He knows what dock leaves, catmint, feverfew, cobwebs, and burdock root do.
He's about eight moons old, close to becoming nine. He's afraid of fire and heights, and for some odd reason, he finds maggots a little bit cute. He's just like "aw, look at them. They're so cute, wiggling around like that."
Queens/Kits:
