So let's see. ThunderClan's the clan You're in, ShadowClan gets all bent out of shape over Spidershade, RiverClan has kitty-hitler, and WindClan? Hmmm...
But WindClan has a dark past. They stole a kit from ThunderClan. The whole prologue was dedicated to them; there's more to them then appears. Splashstar? She's just a distraction. Cliched obvious pureblood-obsessed villain is obvious.
On the other hand, at times, the charactres will leave cryptic quotes like, "I hope it's not a silence before a Storm."
And "Wind keeps blowing in our faces".
At one point, a character mentions that WindClan keeps to themselves.
This does not bode well...
Also, I know that Smokeflake is a conspiracy theorist, and I know that not everything on the forums should be taken at face value, but well...
Tempestpaw, an apprentice, can summon a howling wind, and Blackheart being intensely afraid of the "Prince of Shadow Hares" might not just be a joke. Blackheart may be strange, but he's not stupid.
But what really made me seriously consider this was Nutkit.
Namely, how Nutkit got far away from camp. Yes, she says that she got caught by an owl, but how did she get caught by an owl? She's a moon old, she can't even say anybody's name properly yet. How far away from camp could she have gotten? But if a Beastmaster was in the picture...I mean, it just seems some outside force was involved.
And that made me remember the two truths and a lie, specifically the one where Thornstep got killed by Rabbitclaw for trying to kill Stormstar.
What if Thornstep knew something nobody else did?
A few moons before Kittypet came, Thrushfeather was heartbroken, Thornstep upset for her sister.
Thornstep dug deeper, found the truth, and, whatever it was, full of fear, and rage, and wanting to help her sister, goes and tries to kill Stormstar, the real mastermind behind everything.
But Rabbitclaw kills her and ThunderClan is left under the belief that Thornstep is a traitor and refuse to speak of her.
But that's all conjecture.
I mean...heck, I hope it was at least entertaining. I've had this theory stirring for a bit, and, I must admit, that Dove flying around makes me suspiscious. And you know what? Having a warrior saying they never hunt is weird.
