So I just started playing this the other day and I'm having a ton of fun and here are the OCs I made for the game and how their story plays out.
Past and Basics
Phantom and Specter were siblings owned by a married couple who wrote horror novels and theme named their cats, as were their parents Shelly and Lovecraft. Specter loves hearing stories of the wild cats while his much smaller sister was frightened by them. Their owners were packing up to move further inland when Brute attacked the siblings, even together they were chased off and separated from their housefolk. They took Mikan’s suggestion of looking for the clans much to Specter’s eagerness. They were brought to the clan and at Duskpaw’s nodding both joined, though Phantom was hesitant she didn’t want to leave her brothers side and almost took up Brairstar’s offer to leave. They then became Phantompaw and Specterpaw. Apprenticed to Ravenwing and Thrushfeather respectively.
They trained hard as part of the clan, Specterpaw quickly proved himself to be a natural at fighting and a skilled hunter despite his light silvery pelt that stood out. He was also a tad eager to pick fights with the neighboring clans.
On the other paw, Phantompaw wasn’t excelling in either. She had a hard time fighting and an even harder time hunting, her white fur always giving her away. She’d sneak out at night to get extra practice in, if she caught any prey she’d leave in the fresh-kill pile, she’d drag Specterpaw out for battle practice.
The siblings became close to the other apprentices and some of the other members of the clan.
Phantompaw was best friends with Badgerpaw and was supportive when she became Blackheart’s apprentice. And they remained very close.
Specterpaw was best friends with Duskpaw and the two would often talk about becoming heroes, Specterpaw was content being a side kick if it meant he could fight and look cool.
Story
Phantompaw was the much calmer of the two siblings, and the much friendlier. She didn’t understand why the clans had to hate each other, though she understood why they had to be separate. She got along well with the elders, and Applefang, as she loved to help in the nursery. When the kits went missing she was the one who found Nightkit at the Sky Oak, she braved herself and climbed up to reach him and got him down safely, where she licked him to keep him warm and safe before taking him back to camp.
Specterpaw was also active in clan life but he took to following warriors around when he didn’t have tasks to do. He didn’t like Mossfur at all and avoided Blackheart as he was weirded out by him. He was the one who found Eaglekit, and along with the other apprentices helped fight off the rogues ensuring her safety.
Everyone was glad the kits where unharmed. They, next day they both went to the little apprentice gathering and both believed Duskpaw. When the fox attacked Specterpaw told his sister and Kestrelpaw to run and tell the clan, as he knew Kestrelpaw wasn’t breathing well and knew Phantompaw was a weak fighter. Phantompaw and Kestrelpaw made it back to camp and alerted them of the fox. They made it back in time to see the other apprentices fleeing unharmed.
Both Phantompaw and Specterpaw where chosen to go on the border patrol under Thrushfeather’s guidance. Before they left Ravenwing pulled her apprentice to the side and asked her to pass along a message to Pebbleskip, which she accepted without hesitation fully trusting her mentor. They snuck up on Mousepaw and she convinced him to let her speak with his mentor about a "prophecy", which he agreed after she swore not to hurt him. Specterpaw questioned his sister but she lied like she did to Mousepaw, though she felt bad about lying to her brother for the first time.
When they finished Thrushfeather said she needed to talk to Specterpaw in private and Phantompaw was free to go. She went back to camp to spend time with the kits and Applefang and tell them the story of Firestar before Nettlepaw’s move demonstration, she got Duskpaw to come with her. Meanwhile, after a brief stop at camp to grab a dove to eat, Specterpaw met at the Cave and was very eager to join the Hawks.
Phantompaw left early and ran to the border to meet with the Shadowclan medicine cat and pass along her mentor's message, and asked if he believed that there was a peaceful solution, to which she was grateful for. She then met back with everyone at the training clearing to see the new move. The siblings train more over the next few days.
Phantompaw becomes a much better hunter now shaping up to be one of the best in the clan when she is older, and Specterpaw chases off some kittypets from the territory. Phantompaw shares her large haul with Badgerpaw. Blackheart requests that Specterpaw accompany him to the moonpool. While they get ready and Phantompaw is doing more hunting she finds a lost and freezing kit on the shore and rushes her back to camp just after her brother leaves, she is grateful the clan is taking the kit in and says that she believes the kit is not clan born, despite having smelt slightly of shadowclan but she hopes that they don’t notice. They don’t seem as they ask her to name her, Phantompaw chooses the name Cypresskit. She spends the rest of the day helping Applefang keep the kit warm and to have company.
On the patrol, Specterpaw is dealing with the rats and does well. While Nettlepaw and Kestrelpaw are talking his thoughts drift briefly to Badgerpaw and thinking about how he should spend some more time with her. He is yanked out of that thought by the sound of the rats attacking again. When Tempestpaw shows up he is reluctant to say that Specterpaw is grateful for the help, even though he is.
Together, he Nettlepaw, Kestrelpaw and Tempestpaw defeat the Rat King. They return to Oakstar threatening war on Thunderclan, Specterpaw quickly spots his sister near the nursery, sitting next to Amberflame and the two of them are whispering. When Amberflame leaves her he goes up to her and they start sharingtounge. He tells her about the Rat King and she tells him about Cypresskit. After that he finds Thrushfeather and they discuss Ravenwing and he worries about his sister’s safety. Meanwhile, she leaves camp to meet with her mentor and Amberflame. She is very happy other clanmates want to stop the war peacefully, but is disheartened when they reveal that they know that Cypresskit is really from Shadowclan, and they task her with distracting Applefang. She doesn’t want to as she already loves the little kit but tries to do it anyway. But when she sees Applefang, Eaglekit, Nightkit, and Cypresskit all curled up together she can’t bring herself and goes to the apprentice den, to curl up in the nest next to her brother’s.
Phantompaw continues to serve the Doves to bring peace and (mildly) becomes Slackfur’s apprentice, as her nose, is becoming very good. Spectorpaw is shaping up to be a fine well-rounded warrior and loyal member of the Hawks, neither sibling realizing that they are on opposing sides. Over the next days, the siblings get closer with their best friends but also with the cats that they develop crushes on, Duskpaw for Phantompaw and Badgerpaw for Specterpaw. Both remain oblivious.
They have a shared dream about Voideyes and are both fully aware of it and are both very unnerved.
That morning, Foxclaw assigns Phantompaw to do tasks in the camp along with her mentor, both are clearly annoyed as they know it is due to them being Doves, while Specterpaw and Badgerpaw spend the day together. Specterpaw quite obviously has a crush on her and agrees to help her in the nursery coming up with the tale of the heroic Condorsong and her arch nemesis Smokefire. He leaves as Phantompaw comes to visit Cypresskit.
Eaglekit and Nightkit are given their apprentice names and mentors but due to how I’m changing things Amberflame becomes Nightpaw’s mentor until she joins the Nursery then Slackfur becomes his mentor. On their first day, they go missing, Badgerpaw is in a panic and asks the siblings for personal help. Phantompaw easily tracks them down with her honed tracking abilities. They find Maplefrost and flee. Panicked they tell Brierstar who starts to deal with the situation.
Phantompaw and Specterpaw were both chosen to go to the gathering, and Phantompaw is glad that Shadowclan didn’t threaten war, thinking that it has been averted. Specterpaw is skeptical as he doesn’t trust Shadowclan as far as he can throw them. The next day they confront Maplefrost and his lackeys, Phantompaw attacked him for daring to harm the kits and was the one to find out that he was fake, then the rogues ran off. All was well until Smokefire showed up, Specterpaw is absolutely shocked that he is real. The battle ensues and Badgerpaw pretends to be Condorsong. Smokefire attacked Badgerpaw and badly hurt her, and Specterpaw ripped him off her and the patrol was successful in scaring him off. Both siblings praised their friend for her bravery.
Then Shadowclan attacks having hidden their true motives. They managed to hold the line and repel the attacking cats. Thunderclan wins the war, moons later the siblings get their warrior names.
Phantomflower and Specterbreeze.
Looks: (I'll have to draw them soon)
Phantomflower is a small, lean, she-cat with long, soft and shiny white fur her tail is long and feathery. She has dainty gray paws and tufted ears. She has one yellow eye (right) and one blue eye (left). She is deaf in her left ear but only her brother, Badgerberry and Duskheart know.
Specterbreeze is a tall, tom with a narrow build and a narrow face. His hight is mostly in his legs and a bit in the neck. When made a warrior he is almost a head taller than his friends. He has long glossy white and silver tabby fur, and his tail is feathery. He also has tufted ears. Both his eyes are yellow.
