Soo, let me present to you the first cat whose story I completed in literal years, Crowpaw! He's my most recently imagined character for RtI.
Here's a little ref sheet for this really salty boy, and his actual sprites from the game:
(On a side note, I was quite astonished at how fitting the name and qualities were for him. That first ceremony in ages was incredibly satisfying ^^)
His personality traits are: Chaste, Energetic, Forgiving, Generous, Deceitful, Unfaithful, Cruel, Modest, Wise, Greedy, Suspicious, Brave
Acheivements: He
Defeated the fox, earning respect from cats of all the Clans
Defeated Sootleg, showing himself as a potential Clawmaster, and both ShadowClan patrols
Is a known liar
Is known for his bravery
Befriended Kestrelpaw, Nettleclaw, the Elders
Made a good impression on Creekskip (it is not mutual)
Recaptured the clearing
Stopped the spy
Didn't let anyone die
Performed his duties with utmost dedication
Became a warrior.
A few notes on his relationships with other characters:
Duskpaw:
The youngest apprentice was the first cat to be friendly towards the former kittypet and treat him as a full and proper Clan cat, and Crowpaw is grateful for that. However, that doesn't mean he ever wished to get close to that delusional mousebrain. He snuck two cats from an enemy Clan into their territory to set up a "fight club" with them, for StarClan's sake!
Kestrelpaw:
Kestrelpaw is the most level-headed of the ThunderClan apprentices, and Crowpaw can appreciate that. They also share a more clever, tactical approach to combat. They are pretty good friends, and probably worked double-duty as senior apprentices, preventing Duskpaw, Nightpaw and an unwilling Eaglepaw from setting the forest on fire a couple times post-Act 1.
Badgerpaw:
Crowpaw finds Badgerpaw's laziness and tendency to give up in front of the slightest obstacle downright insufferable. He found a greater purpose he enjoys in the Clan, and can't wrap his head around why she'd want to give that up. She snapped at him over it a couple days into his apprenticeship, and he's barely been on speaking terms with her since.
Nettlepaw:
He greatly looked up to her dedication and skill in combat from the moment he knew her. She was a bit hard to approach, and has quite the ego (not that he can blame her, he's got the same for himself), but he highly values the skill and knowledge she passed onto him. After a few moons of training, he's fully aware that her technique is not without its flaws, but elected to keep quiet about it for now. They also quite enjoy spending their evenings brooding together over admittedly "deep" comments.
Tempestpaw:
The one thing he'd admit to sharing with Duskpaw is the rivalry to Tempestpaw. StarClan, that obnoxious, cocky little piece of mousedung just never shuts up. Well, he better watch out, 'cause Crowpaw is not letting it be! Crowpaw will belittle him and brag around him every chance he gets. He absolutely does not find the WindClan apprentice attractive in the slightest or secretely want to see him impressed with his skill, what kind of stupid tsun do you think he is?!
Creekskip:
Crowpaw never really hid the fact that he would greatly appreciate ripping her eyes out, as he would with every other RiverClan cat. He never understood how Kestrelpaw could possibly like her. In the meanwhile, he just loves sitting back and watching Nettleclaw beat her up every now and then. (Yeah, he's actually the pettiest lil shit you'll find)
Reedpaw:
He has pretty mixed feelings towards the RiverClan apprentice. On one paw, he just really wants to be petty and make him pay for his sister, on the other, he feels that his Clan's ideals have not gotten to him yet, and knows that he's not in a place where he should hold prejudice based on a cat's origins. I can picture him beginning to date Reedpaw just for the sake of messing with Creekskip, and accidentally falling for him over time.
Thrushfeather:
His mentor is probably the single cat Crowpaw hates the most in ThunderClan. Even long after he proved himself to be a worthy addition to the Clan, he could still feel her contemptful glare resting upon his collar every time she looked at him. He felt that none of what she taught him in terms of combat or strategy was worth being treated this way, he'd actually learnt more from Nettleclaw and the elders. He once told Nettleclaw that he wished his mentor could have been Waspwing, as having a mentor that's a disdainful jerk with the most extensive combat knowledge in the Clan, was still far better than one that's just a disdainful jerk.
Here's a little ref sheet for this really salty boy, and his actual sprites from the game:
He was formerly a kittypet named Parade who went to meet the forest cats for help driving out the rogues who terrorized the Twolegplace cat. He wound up joining them instead when they refused, not having a better idea to save himself and his kittypet friends. He was a really proud cat, who kept his collar as a reminder of where he came from and of the fact he chose this life for himself. His collar earned him a lot of contempt from his Clanmates at first, especially from his mentor, Thrushfeather. Instead of coming to hate his origins, he wound up deciding he'd display them proudly for the rest of his life. It gave him the determination to work harder than everyone else, fight his way to the top and thoroughly rub it in everyone's faces that that cat who used to be everything they despise would someday be the best of them all.
He and the other apprentices (minus Badgerpaw, who ran to get help) successfully chased off the fox during the meeting in the thicket, helping Nettleclaw earn her warrior name. From this point on, he began spending a lot of time training with her.
He quickly found himself a knack for scheming his way through problems and making up inventive combat strategies to ensure his and his Clanmates' victory. He didn't join the Hawks as Thrushfeather didn't value him enough to make him participate in their actions, however he always took care not to interfere with their actions and work on his own towards ensuring the war with ShadowClan would happen on terms favorable for ThunderClan. He did not denounce Ravenwing when she asked him to talk to Pebbleskip, suspecting that the Clan would never believe him over her, and that cats who were in contact with ShadowClan could prove to have useful information to give. He attended the Dove meeting, and reluctantly accepted to return Nutkit (whom he had named Featherkit), agreeing with Nettleclaw that keeping her while being fully aware of the situation would be pointlessly petty and unfair towards the kit and her family.
In the end, thanks to the Hawks' actions (and his own, much to his pride), and the apprentices' success in chasing off both Sootleg and two ShadowClan patrols in battle ensured ThunderClan a victory so crushing ShadowClan was forced to give up the clearing back to its original owners.
Moons later, after a picture-perfect apprenticeship and already a few remarable deeds in his book Crowpaw earned his warrior name at last; during the ceremony, Briarstar praised his cleverness and initiative, and gave him the name Crowheart.
