So I've been playing this game for a while now and finally decided to present my favorite character out of all the ones I made. His backstory is based on a story I imagined by combining different Warriors games. So here it is:
Smokeclaw is a gray tom with orange eyes. His back, tail and the left side of his face are dark grey, aside from his tailtip which is grey as the rest of his fur.
Before the game:
Smokekit (also called Smoke) is the son of Moonjump and Snowtail who were both members of two fareway Clans, Moonjump being a medicine cat for his great connection to StarClan (scratch games). Falling in love, they both decided to run away together while Snowtail was pregnant. They met a young cat who happened to be one of the few survivors of a tribe. Having heard her story, they decided to create a tribe of their own with the survivors by mixing clan and tribe cultures and where they'll welcome anyone (Untold Tales). Not long after, Snowtail gave birth to three kits: Cloudkit, Smokekit and Foamkit. Smokekit and Foamkit were very close, both being adventurous and curious while Cloudkit was a calm dreamer. But one day when they were about four moons old, as they had sneaked out of camp to explore the territory, they encountered some twolegs. While Foamkit managed to hide, the twolegs found Smokekit and decided to take him, bringing them to their twolegnest. Not knowing how to get home or even how to survive in the wilds, Smokekit relunctly accepted to become a kittypet. He began to call himself Smoke as his brother and sister usually called him and quickly became friends with Mikan.
In the game:
Two moons later, the problems with the rogues started. Even though Smoke didn't know how to fight, he had always wanted to be a fighter and therefore was rather combative and fierce. So, of course, he refused to give in to Brute's demands and ended up being kicked out of the twolegplace. When Mikan suggested he should find the lake cats, whom he had understood quickly that they were clan cats, he hesitated. Because of everything his mother told him about her old Clan, he didn't have a good opinion of them and thought they had too many rules. But, having no other choice, he went to look for them.
At first, Clanlife was exactly how he expected it to be: with too many rules and restrictions and it's a miracle, Smokepaw never get punished because he didn't mind breaking the rules. However, he valued greatly the skills his mentor taught him, especially fighting skills and was having a good time with the other apprentices. As time passed, he became a valuable asset in the Clan: he defeated the fox and earned the respect of the Hawks even though he didn't help them further in their war project, wondering what's the point of fighting ShadowClan as he didn't really care about Clan prestige. However, he also had a quite rebellious nature: he helped Ravenwing as he didn't see speaking with other Clans a bad thing, let Star and Moon live in the Twolegplace, started a Fight Club with Duskpaw, helped him fight Toadtail, not liking to see someone mock and taunt them with no proofs and, while he found the spy, he kept it secret as it will be hyppocrite of him to judge Slackfur given his parents' relationship and hoping he and Magpieburr love each other.
Smokepaw had a strange view over RiverClan cats. On one hand, he found it both amusing and irritating to be treated as a kittypet when his parents were Clan cats but since they also dislike half-Clans, he figured it won't change anything if he told them his origins. However, he was also taught from a young age to not look down on others because of their origins so he befriended Reedpaw at the gathering or at least tried to since they can't communicate.
In the end, he managed to reclaim the clearing for ThunderClan and receive his warrior name: Smokeclaw.
Relationships:
Duskpaw:
Smokepaw and Duskpaw get along really well. He was grateful for his help in being accepted in the Clan and he always follows him in his crazy ideas. However, Smokepaw never really supported his "I'm a hero" side, believing that you can't be a hero just by wanting it and thus he didn't support his prophecy. Since his father was a medicine cat, he really doesn't think Duskpaw's justification is the right one and isn't afraid to say it.
Nettlepaw:
Smokepaw respects and admires Nettlepaw a lot. He is impressed by her fighting skills and constantly trains with her in order to become stronger. While at first, Nettlepaw will always win in their sparring sessions, I imagine that, as they continue to train when they're warriors, they'll eventually be evenly match. This training has also made them very close and Smokepaw wonders why Nettlepaw trains so much since she stated not wanting to be a clawmaster. He is also very supportive for her family problems and all the struggles she might have about being a half-Clan, being one himself.
Kestrelpaw:
While Kestrelpaw isn't the apprentice Smokepaw spend most of his time with, due to their different interests, he is still friendly towards him and they sometimes hang out along with Badgerpaw. He also appreciate Kestrelpaw's worldview, how he always questions everything, his desire to be remembered and his peaceful nature. He knows he could always rely on Kestrelpaw.
Badgerpaw:
Even though, Smokepaw and Badgerpaw doesn't have many things in common, Smokepaw really appreciate her. He always tries to help her, understanding Clanlife might not be good for her. He also support her desire to be a medicine cat and thanks to him, that desire became reality. As a warrior, Smokeclaw will eventually develop feelings for Badgerberry, not caring if it's forbbiden and daring anyone to oppose to their relationship.
I'll post images of him later, if I figure out how to do it.
