(A bit late this time, I have only restricted access to my laptop, I can never know when I can log in. Sorry guys. Doesn't seem like I missed much, though.)
Hawkstep trotted to the river Aspenstar had indicated, and observed what was around it. The river was pretty large, and its flow didn't seem too strong, though it looked too deep to be crossed without swimming. There was a fair amount of bushes on the other side, but Hawkstep turned back to look out for hunting spots by her side. She spotted a large tree, whose thick, tangled roots seemed a good spot for finding prey. Actually, she seen a rather plump vole wandering between the roots. She instinctively crouched down in hunting position, crept up to the rodent, and pounced on it. She quickly finished it off, buried it, and turned back to see if the others were around. I wonder if Fogheart and Aspenstar caught something, too.
Hollyfrost chuckled as Sootfang spoke. She wondered how he knew what coltsfoot or poppy flowers looked like. I wonder... Was he born in a Clan, like Hawkstep and me? -Didn't you just say you don't know anything about herbs? Well, if you have seen some of the plants we are looking for, that's great! I'll have to check out this white-flowered plant, this might be yarrow, or water hemlock as well. Ah, wait a second, I see some cobwebs right here! She had spotted a large spider web between the branches of a tree nearby. She leaped on it, unseathing her claws to hold on to the trunk, and climbed up the branch. She grabbed the spider web and wrapped it around her paw. -Hey, Stormpaw, would you come? I see another one further up this branch.

Aspenstar Aspenstar had followed Hawkstep, along her to take the lead. He split from the patrol so they each could execute hunting. He followed the river north, glancing to the other side of the river to see the bushes being replaced by a marsh. Deciding he was far enough that he wouldn't disturb anyone's hunting or them messing with his, he began to inhale the scents around him. Hm? I smell a Talon cat on the wind. I think it's Pigeonwing. He must be taking the initiative by hunting or patrolling. What a loyal Warrior! I should try to catch some prey, and then I'll go visit with him, Aspenstar mused, noting the scents of a shrew and a squirrel. The gray tom first hunted down the shrew; it seemed to be expanding the entrance of it's burrow when he spotted it. Using the bushes and other undergrowth around him, it was easy for him to stalk and pounce on the prey with it's poor sight. Burying it, Aspenstar then went to track down the squirrel. Though, getting the squirrel wasn't so succesful; the tom misjudged the pouncing distance and fell short, spatting out a 'mouse-dung!' as he tried to pursue it but the squirrel proved to be too swift and escaped up a tree. He sighed and shook out his fur, as if he was shaking off frustration from his failure. You can't win 'em all. We'll find more prey, and the others definitely will get something. I believe in their skills. Aspenstar caught Pigeonwing's scent again, and he thought he caught another smell too. It was too faint for him to make it out. I should check on him and investigate that smell...but, my other Clanmates. I'll fetch them first and inform them. The gray tom dug up his shrew and then headed back down the river, following the direction of the current to where he left his patrol to hunt. He managed to catch Hawkstep's scent and find her. Placing his catch down, Aspenstar asked, "have you seen Fogheart? I've caught some scents we should investigate. It's best we do it together in case it proves to be dangerous. Pigeonwing is over by the smell too."
Sootfang Sootfang followed after them, impressed how easily Hollyfrost climbed the tree. "Oh, my mistake. I have some knowledge. Mother tried to teach me, but it didn't go over well." He paused, his yellow eyes surveying the area before he focused back on the Medicine cat. He saw some other cobwebs too on other branches, so he took a leap onto the trunk and clambered up the tree, though he was pretty sure he didn't do it as well as Hollyfrost. His sore muscles also ached in protest, but he pushed it aside, grimacing. As Sootfang copied the russet she-cat by wrapping the cobwebs around his paw as well, he commented, "you're a good climber." His yellow eyes then drifted to Stormpaw, curious if the tom could climb at all, and how skilled he was at it.

PigeonWing froze, dreading the thought of him being near a fox den. I have to find Aspenstar. He needs to know about this. He quietly took off, avoiding any scent of the fox, and followed the TalonClan scent. I have to get to Aspenstar. With that in mind, he ran as fast as he could, following the TalonClan scent, completely forgetting about the mouse.

Fogheart looked around , trying to find a trace of prey. He padded under a tree's roots, hoping to find a mouse nest , or any prey in general. He stuck his nose in a hole that was barely visible and jumped back in suprise, letting out a pained ,ouch' Apparently he shoved his nose in a thorn bush, great. He sat and tried to take it off, with no luck.

Hawkstep gave her leader a worried look. There was obviously something off about this. -No, I haven't seen Fogheart after we reached the river. Do you have a clue about what you have smelt? Hope there is nothing dangerous there. She looked back to the forest, stepped towards the grey tom. -Do you think we should investigate this right now, or get Fogheart first.
Hollyfrost felt her ears heat up at the dark grey warrior's compliment. -Oh, thanks. You're not bad either. And... Thanks for having accepted to help with this, too. I feel like Aspenstar did not pay much attention anyway. Guess Hawkstep is happy, though. She likes being the center of attention. For good things, at least. She looked back to her apprentice, who was still sitting at the bottom of the tree. She wondered why he did not even try to climb. -Stormpaw, are you going to come? That's you who should be the first to help me, you know. Or maybe are you scared?

Stormpaw flicked his ears. "Of course not!" he helped, scrambling up the tree and hooking up some cobwebs with his claws. "I've just never actually mastered climbing trees."

Aspenstar Aspenstar frowned, trying to recall the scent and match it with something. It didn't match anything, at least, at the moment. "I've never encountered this smell before. It wasn't pleasant, whatever it was." His fluffy tail was swishing side to side quickly, and his ears were more twitchy. In response to her question about what to do, he replied, "we should get Fogheart and then check it out. We shouldn't leave him wandering around, trying to find us by himself and end up stumbling into something." The gray tom sniffed around, locating the scent of Fogheart and following it. His heart was beating a little fast; he hoped his new Clan wasn't already facing a grave danger.
Sootfang Sootfang politely listened to Hollyfrost, noting what she said about Aspenstar and Hawkstep. "Yes, he has his flaws. Gets excited like a kit and doesn't think. Impulsive." He snorted, giving a lash of his tail. He paused, waiting for the brief conversation to be done between the russet she-cat and her tabby Apprentice. "She likes the spotlight when it makes her look good? What about when it doesn't - how does she handle that?" Having an ego is just as bad as being impulsive. Though, I used to have an ego, and that almost ended terribly. Glad I realized that and matured. The dark gray Warrior then focused onto Stormpaw. "You should work on your technique for climbing," he informed. "You kept letting your hind legs slack. You need all of your legs ready in case you need to make a sudden change. Also, that's just being lazy."

Hawkstep nodded, and raised her nose, trying to catch Fogheart's scent. Once she got it, she followed Aspenstar, running through the forest, until the scent became closer. She was pretty much worried about that unknown thing. It might have been some Twoleg stuff, and Twoleg stuff was no good for a Clan. And if it was an unknown predator... Let's focus on Fogheart for now. Looking around for a while, she ended up spotting the grey warrior searching for prey between a tree's large roots. -Hey, Fogheart? Are you okay? Wonder if he scented anything? I hope nothing bad happened to Pigeonwing.
Hollyfrost chuckled at Sootfang's comment about Stormpaw's climbing. -What Sootfang said is very true, it'd be way faster and safer for you to use your hind legs. Plus, I can't say your technique is very aestethic yet. She realized Sootfang had asked her a question. She wondered if wether or not she would answer. That brought back painful memories. That one day... -Well, it didn't happen that many times... Except that day, when we were new apprentices, she had disobeyed her mentor on how she had to serve the elders and the queens before eating. She pretty much groveled at his feet, begging him to be forgiven. But well... We were barely 8 moons back then. Then... There was the day we had to leave the Clan... She looked the other way, trying not to let out a pained moan. As she closed her eyes, she saw the young Roseclan warrior again, this vision recalling her of what she had done. -... Sorry. That's not something I like to talk about.

Stormpaw flicked his ears. "Shut up," he grunted good naturedly. "It's not like I've ever climbed a tree.

Name Fawnheart
Gender Female
Rank Queen
Personality Fawnheart is a sweet, gentle soul. She has all the time in the world for her fellow clanmates, and loves interacting with young ones. As lovely as she is, she has a spiteful, rude side to her if you disrespect a loved one.
Appearance(picture or description) Fawnheart is of average built for a she-cat, if you pretend her belly isn't filled with kits. She's tawny brown, with pale brown paws, and the same coloured spots on her back, as well as a pale face and underbelly. Her eyes are light green.
Other Her mate, and father of her to-be kits, Sparrowtail, was killed by a fox many moons ago, just after she announced her pregnancy. I'd personally prefer if Fawnheart would have a maximum of 3 kits, and to match the genetics of the mother and father, they should be coloured grey and / or brown.

(Just a question, are we going to do gatherings like skyclan?)
(Fawnheart looks fine to me, but you have to wait for Aspenstar)
PigeonWing Raced across the territory, reaching the Talonclan scent. He was quite disappointed to see that they had left. That's Strange PigeonWing thought, I can only smell Aspenstar and Hawkstep's scent. Wait, is it Hawkstep or, Hollyfrost? Is Hawkstep the medicine cat? And where is Fogheart? All these thoughts burrowed into Pigeonwing's head. I guess this is the trouble to be faced in a new clan.

Fogheart's head shoot up the moment he heard his clanmate's voice. ,Fox dung! Not now! This is so embarrassing Starclan help me!' He turned , so that his back was facing Hawkstep, and pretended that nothing's wrong. In reality, everything was wrong. He flicked his tail to signal that he heard his clanmate and with his nose buried deep into the bushes, he jerked his head to appear as if he hurt his nose in that moment, and not before. He faked a yowl, but even to his own ears it sounded really fake.

{The more the merrier Rekki!}{I don't have much knowledge on SkyClan, I haven't read the recently set of books or editions. The only book with SkyClan I read was Firestar's Quest xD. Can you explain what SkyClan does for gatherings?} {Also, I thought it would be cool if RippleClan and TalonClan discovered each other for gatherings and patrols, I've been thinking about asking the creator of RippleClan about that}AspenstarThe tom had been too worried thinking about that scent to know what Hawkstep had said to Fogheart, and what he said if he even replied. The Warrior's yowl made him jump, his yellow eyes wide."Wh-what? Fogheart! Great StarClan are you alright?!"Aspenstar rushed to the dark gray tom, his fur bristling as he eyed the bushes. Was he bit? He couldn't scent any animals. What could it be? Nobody harms MY Clanmate! That was when the gray tom saw the thorn embedded into his nose. Oh, ouch."Ah mouse-dung! You got a thorn in one of the worse places," he chuckled, his heart racing as he tried to flatten his fur. Aspenstar was trying to be light-hearted about the situation."Well, of course you know it. Or should I say nose it? Heh. Um. I can pull it out, but you'll have to be as still as possible." He shuffled his white paws, feeling sorry for the embarrassing situation Fogheart was in.SootfangSootfang ears perked up as he listened to the russet she-cat. He was trying to carefully size up what she said, and figure out what she meant about when they had to leave 'the Clan.' What happened? And why? I thought Clans were some story that was passed through generations, and some cat believing they were true would sometimes form one. Did some loner form that Clan, or was it really the will of this StarClan? He hadn't tried talking to Aspenstar about StarClan yet, since his uncle seemed so passionate about it. The tom wasn't sure if they were real or not. Either his uncle had some normal dream made from his desires of being apart of Clan life or it was real. And he doesn't have nine lives. Something about needing a magical stone and water for that. Sootfang shook his head, focusing back on Hollyfrost. His yellow eyes softened as he barely heard her apologize, since she turned her head away. He paused, thinking. Change subject completely? Apologize for bringing it up? But he was still curious at the fact that there was, indeed, other Clans. "Hey, do we have enough cobwebs? If we get anymore we might end up in a sticky situation," the dark gray tom joked lightly. He had taken the safe route; he needed to better understand Hollyfrost before pushing her about the subject of her past life. He also didn't want her to dislike him for being nosy.

(Skyclan do it where the whole clan meets in the place closest to starclan.)
PigeonWing set off again, following the TalonClan scent. I smell Fogheart, so I must be close. He knew that the clan was in danger, and no matter what happens, he would have to reach Aspenstar. Then, as the scent was very strong, he saw the grey tom besides Fogheart and Hawkstep. "Aspenstar!" He panted, "There is a fox's den!"

(About Talonclan-Rippleclan cross roleplay, I think it could be great, though this roleplay looks pretty much dead)
Hawkstep sat away from Fogheart as Aspenstar was rushing towards him. She tried not to let out a chuckle when Aspenstar noticed the thorn in Fogheart's nose. How can that cat always get in trouble like this? She suddenly smelt a Talonclan smell near them, and recognized Pigeonwing a few seconds before he popped up right next to her, panting from having to run so fast. She felt her fur bristling and her eyes widening at Pigeonwing's announcement. -A fox den? Near there? She got up in a leap, already feeling the adrenaline of danger rushing in her veins. -Aspenstar! What should we do about it?
Hollyfrost ruled out the vision at Sootfang's question. Past is still past. All I can do now is be the best medicine cat possible, and Starclan might forgive me. -Eh, yes. We have enough for now. Would you show me where you have seen this coltsfoot and the poppy flowers? She remembered then Stormpaw had answered her remark. I don't know if wether or not it's humor, but I'm not so sure I like it. -Stormpaw, is that me or did you ask me to shut up? I'm still your mentor yet, you should try to accept another cat's advice. Anyways this is not the last time you have to climb a tree, so you will have to apply it someday. She tried to flatten her fur as she realized she might have sounded rude. -Still, that wasn't bad at all for a first time, but you will still have to improve.
